Service and food excellent. Staff is respectful, kind and effective. The mushroom enchiladas and the fish tacos are excellent choices. Host is a marvelous woman and our waiter Tom was fun and kind.

This location has changed a lot. Prices are higher, smaller portions. A friend’s chicken fried steak was not edible. Service wasn’t great. Not sure if workers called out or if they weren’t staffed properly. Waitress was kind though and replaced the meal.

It was fine. Food was good, although not as exceptional as I believe it used to be many years ago. It used to be less of a family place and more upscale; certainly nothing wrong with catering to families but it has changed somewhat over the years. Granted it had been a long time since we’d been there but the lights were bright, the decor was dated. I believe they were short staffed as many places are….but the wait staff was working hard to keep you served so kudos for that.

We went to Z Tejas for New Year’s which happens to be my Husband’s birthday. We made a reservation and got seated right away. The waitress made sure to get our drinks and everything out to us quickly. My Gorgonzola steak was amazing cooked to perfection and the potatoes and veggies were so good. And I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita

This place is amazing. The hostess was there and ready to greet you upon arrival. The manager appeared to open the door and welcome you into the establishment. Our Server was excellent. She was there for everything we needed. Had great knowledge of the food and drink items. The music was soft and a vibe. We can’t wait to go back!

Odd walking to a standing speaker blasting music into the seating area. That did not set up great expectations. Place felt unwelcoming and a bit run down with paint chips along outer walls. Service great, but food not.
