   I made a reservation for Valentine's for my husband and I. When we arrived, I informed the hostess we had a reservation, she walked us to one of those long half booth half table. There were other people already seated, and we were placed in the middle of two other parties. Needless to say, this was a "romantic date." I asked the girl if she had a different table to which she replied with " We have a seating chart." We noticed a couple of other tables open, by the end of our night, they were still open. The experience with our waiter was different. His name was Ellis or Elijha. He gave us a different table and his service was great, kudos to him!! The food was fair. I would not go back unless necessary.

   First time coming to this restaurant. Service was outstanding and food was amazing, will definitely be back.

   I have been to Zona 78 many times but not since the new owners. Latest experience was disaster— the menu has changed. No more ribs “because they arent Italian.” (Has anyone told the Italians?) My guest had some weird combination called short rib manicotti— didnt get good marks. I had mussels, sausage and spaghetti— not great. Not even good. Menu seems very limited. Drink was good but not good enough to make up for the food. Will wait for new owners

   My wife Ordered Eggplant Parm but what she got was a heated up fried eggplant that tasted oily and did not come close to real Eggplant Parm that is baked with lots of cheese and eggplant. It was flat and had no texture and came with little sauce. had to ask for sauce but could not eat it. Sent it back and ordered a tortilla soup and beat salad with goat cheese. The soup was terrible and looked like dishwasher soap. The beet salad came with just field greens with tiny little beets and almost no goat cheese with ho-hum dressing. I ordered muscles and sausage expecting a wine, butter and garlic sauce. The muscles were good but the sausage was hard to find. Little tiny pieces and the pasta had very little sauce. This restaurant pretends to be Italian. IT IS NOT!

   Food was average taste. We have been to Zona in the past. It has been a few years since our last visit. We remember the food beening excellent. This time we felt like it missed. From their chicken parm to there osso. It was not a busy night when we where there but our table kept getting over looked. Kept having to ask for refills while every other table appeared to be getting excellent service. There was no attention to detail due to mistakes being made at our table. The staff was not rude. Just appeared to be chasing the bigger tip. Which my advice to you would be don't judge a book by its cover or race. My wife and I are great tippers but we did not feel like we would be back. And that is a shame because we use to really enjoy your restaurant.

    Very disappointed in our experience. Food was terrible and service bad. Most restaurants are packed on Christmas Eve but this place was not. Now I know why.
