   It’s always wonderful eating at Zambri’s. I have gluten free dairy free needs. They do their best to accommodate that requirement. Food was delicious! A favourite restaurant.

   Outstanding service, dinner and experience. Halibut was cooked to perfection, pork dish was delicious. Best Ceasar salad I’ve ever had. Crispy brocolli and yams just so lovely. Fabulous staff who are warm and welcoming. A must dine Victoria restaurant.

   We requested a quiet table because one of us has a moderately severe hearing impairment, and we very much appreciated that our request was met. The service from the time of seating until we left was excellent. For antipasti we shared an order of polenta from the “sides” options and an order of roasted butternut squash from the specials options. The polenta was some of the best we’ve had, including polenta we eat when visiting family in Italy. The squash, which was grown on a local organic farm, was delicious, roasted with maple syrup and a spice blend I couldn’t identify but wish I could. For a main course, my partner ordered pizza because if there’s pizza on a menu anywhere, that’s what he chooses. He has good taste in pizza, not to mention a lot of experience eating it, and he rated this pizza “very good.” I ordered pasta Tagliatelle, which was good, and the portion was generous. It wasn’t, however, excellent to my taste. This might be because I didn’t know exactly, nor did I ask, what the sauce would be made of. It was a ground beef and tomato sauce, good but lacking a spice or something that could have made it special. However I ate it all and enjoyed it. Overall this is a very good restaurant, and I recommend it to anyone wanting good Italian food in Victoria. We’ll go back.

   I had a half order of Spaghetti Aglio Olio Peperoncino, my partner and Cesare salad, and we both had the crispy pork shoulder as our main dishes. Everything was amazing. Should also add that our waitress, Krista, was did a great job. Zambri's continues to be my favourite Victoria restaurant.

   Generally good - service was a bit slow after finishing our meal and then asking us if we wanted deserts. Probably will try it again.

   Our servers were all very pleasant and helpful. The food was very tasty. I got the beef tenderloin and it was cooked to my liking, but the overall presentation seemed very boring, monotone. On the white plate was white polenta, a steak covered in white cheese, surrounded by white sauce. For me, I would have like a bit of color (a veggie, perhaps?) to help with the presentation. I think it would have been nice to have some free bread to accompany the meal. I've had other Italian restaurants offer this. We were seated right against a wall, witch felt a tiny bit claustrophobic. I would totally overlook that, but the wall had blemishes and dents with missing paint. It just seemed like it was lacking in care, and not in keeping with the lovely feel of the rest of the restaurant.

   Dinner was great, especially the octopus salad. Our server made sure we were well taken care of too.
