   Amanda was our server today and she was fantastic! She was attentive, fast, and even creative when our 18 month old grandson started getting rowdy and impatient. She gave great food & drink recommendations when we asked and friendly service! Thank you!

   Whiskey Cake is always a great experience. The food was very good and the service fantastic. We were there for Sunday brunch and the place was packed! I should have booked an earlier reservation time.

   I feel the quality of the food and experience has gone down hill within the last year. We had brunch a week ago, and it was decent enough for us to want to come back again today to try, but we would have been better off going elsewhere for quality food. The eggs Benedict was overcooked to the point of being just a hard boiled egg, and the burger was well done, with unseasoned dry fries. Our server was kind to take them back to be redone, and brought the manager over when we shared our discontent of quality of food and drink as of late. The manager was very kind in comping us our brunch. Not sure we would jump at the opportunity to come back any time soon.

   We made a reservation for a non-high-top table for 4. We arrived on time, and were led to a high-top table, which we requested be changed, and they quickly changed it. We went way back into the restaurant, which was nice. It was not too noisy; we were able to easily converse. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. The food was very tasty. Good portion sizes. The drinks were good. We had redfish, salmon, and steak frites. All very good. The deviled eggs appetizer was also very good. On the reservation, I noted that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. We did let the server know, and she brought the whiskey cake with a candle, so that was a nice touch. We'll be back.

   Server missed a couple of steps - asked for water, had to ask again, no side plates for the sharable steak for 2 , I ended up taking from the set table next to us. Had to ask for utensils for dessert She was great and was definitely trying, but just missed some steps

   This was my first visit here. My wife and I had an amazing meal, outstanding service and great atmosphere. The menu was limited but everything we had was superb. I doubt there is a bad item on the menu. 10/10 recommend! Stop searching for a good place to eat in SATX and go here!

    Great place to eat, wonderful menu and food selection! The famous Whiskey Cake dessert was amazing. We cannot wait to go back; this was our first experience and it was a “Wow!”
