What an experience and fantastic dining opportunity. The view (Vue) is amazing. Many options require an advanced and adventurous palate. But there is something for everyone on this menu. Highly recommended at the Grove Park Inn

Everything was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal from the staff to the food. The only thing I’d change is maybe make the dining room a little bit darker just to give it a more intimate feeling.

We had previously had a great meal here, but everything fell short this past visit. For the high prices you expect the quality to be excellent, but we were very disappointed. We started with the soup special of lobster bisque for $20 (!) and neither cup had a single piece of lobster in it. I had the filet as my main and it was mealy, hard to cut (knife was dull but filet should still be tender) ice cold, with the smallest amount of whipped potatoes, which felt like it was a garnish vs. a side and 3 cold asparagus for $75! My husband got the rack of lamb special - it was to be prepared medium rare but it was completely raw. $80! I noticed the table across from us both ordered the filet as well and were struggling to cut through it as well. The bread that was served complementary was like a crouton. They called it focaccia but that is not what it was. It is always sad when the food looks beautiful at first glance, but as you start to eat it you find it is not what you thought it was. Our service was not the best either. Our server was fairly aloof; going through the motions but not genuine. I know our town is struggling for lots of reasons but at a high end restaurant you would hope for a little bit warmer of service. This is the nicest restaurant at GPI so I think it would be fair to assume it should be a high quality meal but everything really fell short.

I really want to like this spot but am disappointed by the food and level of service. This was my third and last time to this restaurant.

We were disappointed with the food and noise level of the restaurant - especially given the prices. The food was just ok, and it was pretty noisy which was surprising for a nice restaurant. The service was very good. Our food was super slow (I think they overlooked our orders) and the server and manager were very attentive. We got free dessert - souffle, which was the best part of the meal! Most disappointing was the seared tuna. For $26, it was four paper-thin pieces of tasteless tuna. The burrata was very good though. Bread was good too - but you don't go to a nice restaurant just for the bread. :)

It was a very disappointing meal for what is supposed to be a high end restaurant. If good quality meat is selected and prepared properly, it should almost melt in your mouth. My wife ordered the duck and I ordered lamb shank. Both were incredibly tough, even for the sharpened knives we were given. As a result, it was a mediocre meal for the price of what should have been a delicious meal.

We loved the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Hali it and filet entrees were amazing.. Service was well-timed and friendly.
