We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Vin Rouge and it was lovely. They thoughtfully put a discreet happy anniversary card on our table, and every single member of the wait staff wished us well. It was charming!

First time there. It won’t be our last! The bouillabaisse and poulet rôti were amazing, as was the chicken liver pâté.

Our favorite restaurant in Durham. Great service as always. (Jax?). Anyhow, the portion size was noticeably smaller than our previous experiences. Not that there was any change in quality or flavor. Just… noticeable.

I had dinner at the bar on Friday night, November 8th to celebrate my birthday with two friends. Clare was our server and bartender and she was perfect! The food was fabulous, the wine and drinks were spectacular! I will be back soon,

Love the noise level because we could dine without everyone listening to our private conversations and the food was better than being in France. And the new Monseratz water was a nice touch! Thank you, oh & our waitress was excellent!

Only issue with VR is that on-site parking is somewhat limited, earlier seating helps. Minor problem considering food is incredible and the staff outstanding/ delightful. --- PS: Bread is served with an amazing olive tapenade (dinner only)
