Venue Restaurant & Lounge is a full-service restaurant in Lincoln, NE. We specialize in affordable quick-service lunches while presenting a fine dining chef-inspired dinner service. Join us and our Executive Chef Geoff Wendland for Lincoln's best steaks, delicious seafood, fresh salads, appetizers, pizzas and more. With desserts prepared by our Pastry Chef Linda Erhart and steaks hand-cut in-house by our butcher Jesse Laney. We also offer Catering and Event Services with a large variety of delicious items for any event from an intimate wedding reception to a glamorous business dinner. We have your event venue covered with our selection of 5 private dining rooms, as well as two downtown ballrooms with the Jasmine Room and the Scottish Rite Ballroom.

    The environment is dated and the seats in the booths were so old there was no cushion in some on the areas. The food waaay subpar and people rave over this place. The lettuce wraps had cubed chicken that you could tell had been sitting in a warmer for hours. Terrible experience overall and the cocktails on par with a chain style ownership. Everything was closed on a Monday in Lincoln, so gave this a try based on reviews. I assume the same reviews think Applebees is a culinary art.

    Every aspect was good except it was so noisy in the dining room we couldn’t conduct a decent conversation with our guests from out of town. We will it take-out next time so we can relate to our guests.

    We really enjoyed this restaurant! We had the shrimp cocktail, 7 oz Filet Mignon, and the Pistachio scallops. All was very good. Service was wonderful and the decor is beautiful. We would definitely go again. Get reservations because this is a popular restaurant. The negative…we were charged for an appetizer that we did not order or receive…the spinach and artichoke dip. Not too happy with the extra charge but didn’t notice until we were home. I am sure they would have rectified the mistake had we caught it before we left.

    Experience great with one exception. Noise level made it difficult to talk. Had requested a booth in quiet area but unfortunately not so quiet.

    Great experience at Venue with Max as our server. It was our first time at the restaurant, we were in Omaha for work. The house made bread and butters were delicious. I enjoyed my petit filet , the sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve had. The sprouts were a nice side too. We will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

    Happy hour at The Venue bar is unbeatable. Cocktails and snacks quite good! Service tops. Thanks. Different groups of friends meet monthly!!
