   Our server was great, five stars!!! however the drinks was horrible. We never received our appetizers. The main course was OK. The dessert was the best part.

   My daughter and I dined here on December 30. We had reservations. It took the waitress at least 15 minutes to get to us. It was that way throughout the entire meal and to the best of my knowledge it was the same for the Guest that we’re sitting close in proximity to us. My daughter had a chocolate chip pancake, which was very delicious. I had the shaved ham Benedict, which I did enjoy. It’s a shame because when the service isn’t there, the experience loses its luster.

   Based upon the food, the rating would have been a 5. The strip sirloins we had were perfectly done and absolutely delicious. We split a field green salad with a wonderful dressing and added two sides - mushrooms and twice baked potatoes. My wife said the mushrooms were as good as any she'd ever had and the potatoes were very unique, served almost like a little pie with a flakey crust. All quite delicious. The server was very friendly and spot on with his recommendations. However, and I don't know if the issue was in the kitchen or with the server, it took forever to get our meal. We were seated for our 7pm reservation at 7:10, placed our order by 7:20. Salad arrived at 7:50 and steaks arrived at 8:22. After tracking down our server we paid our bill at 8:57. We weren't looking to race through the meal but for a salad and a main with no apps and no need for extended cook times, this pace left us famished waiting for food.

   Service was very slow and drinks came after we were halfway through appetizers. The steak special had too much fat and another steak was rare even though we asked for medium. One side dish arrived cold.

   The service was very uneven. The server was very nice. The kitchen was completely off. Food was so slow. The dishes were salty and a bit unbalanced. The hollandaise was excellent.

   We went for Christmas breakfast. We were seated immediately and the service staff was very attentive to us. We ordered 3 breakfast items, french toast with nutella and bananas which was outstanding as the bread was not very heavy, the frittata which came with a home made engish muffin and the shrimp and grits which the portion size was so large we needed to take it home. All of the food was very decadent and tasty. Looking forward to coming back here again!

    For the price, there are much better steak house experiences in Philly. The ambiance and service levels fall short of the high menu prices. Additionally, my wife’s ribeye came out overcooked. It was replaced relatively quickly. However, we were still charged for everything. She ended up eating her meal after we completed ours. I didn’t request any comps but felt something should’ve been done. It ruined our dinner experience.
