This was a busy restaurant at the time of our visit. Food was a superb. Only had main course and dessert. The service was so efficient it felt that we were being rushed. The lady who was running the area in which we were seated needed a sense of humour transplant. She was brusque throughout. If you’re fronting up to the customer then make sure you have your game face on. Also disappointed that the bill had an administrative charge in it ? On top of excessive tips the US is being so expensive. Would definitely go back for the food but the service needs to soften.

Uncle Jack’s is an old favorite when I’m in town for NRF. It’s close and convenient, and always outstanding. This visit was no different and did not disappoint. We arrived a bit early and they accommodated us anyway. One of my favorite steak houses in the city.

We were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary. All the staff made the evening a delight. The maitre d’ was exceptionally welcoming and gracious, as was the hostess. Our waiter was congenial and extremely skilled. He knew the menu inside and out, and made excellent recommendations. The rest of the wait staff was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. The steaks were cooked perfectly. All the food was delicious. We benefited from a light crowd (two days after New Years). All in all, a wonderful evening!

My family goes to Madison Square Garden frequently to watch the Ranger games and we’ve always enjoyed going to uncle Jack’s steakhouse. This time, however was severely disappointing. We were a family of six and the dinner, before tax was over $650 and the food and service was subpar. Starting with the bartender who made the drinks wrong to our server who was sloppy did not get our order right and then at the end of the night handed us the wrong bill that was $200 even higher over $800 and then, unless my husband caught it, we would’ve been paying someone else’s check. I personally ordered the Alaskan King crab legs for dinner and they were very fishy and felt like stale the filet mignon steaks that my sons and husband ordered we’re not good and my sisters who had asked to have a butterflied, was not cooked to order. Overall extremely disappointing, particularly since this was a family event and a gift to our son’s sister and brother-in-law.

What a great way to kick-off 2025 with a killer lunch at Uncle Jack's on 9th Ave! I eat here several times per year, and it never disappoints. We started out with the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, which is the best in NYC, and added the Calamari that was on special. Both amazing! The three of us split the Porterhouse for Three which was also on special. It may have been one of the best Porterhouse steaks I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a ton of them. A half dozen beers, a bottle of Pelligrino with a few espressos to finish, and we called it a lunch.

Wonderful evening after our broadway show. Restaurant was decorated to the nines. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Drinks and food were spectacular. We come here every year on our way from PA. We will be back. Thank you to the staff and Happy New Year!
