True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our menu features food and drinks crafted with nutrient-dense ingredients and carefully sourced proteins from the world’s most responsible and sustainable growers, farmers and producers.     Ali was our server and he was amazing. On a rainy raw day his suggestion for the hot specialty tea was brilliant (and friend thought it was too and happily had one). The basil, honey and ginger was perfect!

    True Foods is an incredible dining experience, and the Merrifield store is terrific. When you weigh the quality and nutritional value of the foods it far outweighs the expense. Their new branding is top notch, too.

    Our server, Alix, was wonderful, as was the food. The only critique is that with an open kitchen, occasional loud noises would filter through. But don’t have that dissuade you from a great brunch experience.

    We sat in the outdoor enclosed patio, in the sun & under the heater. It was very pleasant. We were in a bit of a hurry, so we had to get our order in quickly. Our server was very accommodating. The food came out exactly as we had ordered. It, was very good and we had a very nice meal.

    Food is always very well prepared — nice choices of small bites on the HH menu. Only need is French Fries…can do a recipe which aligns with the “true food” theme. Katie was a very good server.

    Easy to male and reservation and be seated in a timely manner. Fresh, seasonal menu. The Spicy parang curry bowl w shrimp is amazing, as is the margherita pizza.

    The patio faced a crossroad but was partitioned off and heated nicely. Although our party dined around 2:00-3:30 PM when most of the tables were empty, the servers were not the most responsive. The food was great and timely. The greens in the salad were in good shape and the dressing ratio was well balanced. Both the vegetables and the chickens were cooked to satisfaction. Overall a great late lunch.
