   Service was slow, and some dishes were not warm when they came out. I didn’t know till after (as it wasn’t my dish) or I would have mentioned it to the server.

   True Food Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience with flavorful, fresh dishes and outstanding service. The staff was attentive and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. While the outdoor seating was pleasant, the presence of birds and other animals was a bit distracting. Overall, it’s a great spot for a healthy meal, but I’d recommend sitting indoors if you prefer a more relaxed environment.

   They were out of literally half of the menu and charged $6 just for a side of vegetables. Will not be back

   Burgers were dry. One turkey burger had raw streak through the center and they offered us new turkey patty. In general, it seems like the quality of the food has declined. I also noticed that the volume of business has significantly declined. While other restaurants were totally booked on a Friday night, True Foods was maybe 50-60% full at 7:45 pm.

    I have always loved True Foods. It’s one of my daughter and my favorite places to have our dates. I always get the ancient  grain bowl. This time the bowl came without any of the sauces, the miso glaze or the pistachio pesto.  We ended up having to ask for the sauces separately. By the time the sauces came, the food was already cold.  My daughter and I also ordered drinks and it came after our main course. Just disappointed with our experience this time especially since we came before the dinner rush.

   My only regret was taking a table indoors instead of out on the patio because it was gorgeous evening. But that’s not anything they can control :-)

   I have always had great experiences at True Food at Seaholm, but this was definitely an off night for them. First of all, it was FREEZING in the restaurant. Almost every diner had his or her coat on, it was so cold. I get that the architecture of the building makes it difficult to heat and cool the restaurant, but when your diners are uncomfortable, it's probably time to get creative and do something about it. Second, the bathrooms were filthy (as in, stuff smeared on the wall and the trash can) and had no toilet paper or paper towels. Third, the restaurant was not full, yet they grouped all of the tables together in tight little mass, to where we could hear each other's conversations and the wait staff had to scoot through the tight spaces-- why? Fourth, our waitress seemed like she was in such a hurry, even though the restaurant was only about 1/3 full and there were plenty of other wait staff. In the past, the wait staff had such a calming, relaxed demeanor-- casual but friendly and attentive. But our waitress just seemed rushed. Maybe this was just a bad night for some reason, but it felt very different than True Food experiences of the past.

   Hi Jamie, thank you for the detailed review and feedback. I apologize about the temperature in the restaurant. We attempted to do our best with the situation but unfortunately due to the windows and infrastructure, we aren't able to keep the restaurant at a warmer temperature. I hear you on the restroom and will check in on that, so you don't have that experience again. I plan on following up with my host and serving staff so we can incorporate this feedback moving on forward. We hope to see you again soon!

    Hadn’t been here in several years, and I can’t fathom why. It was excellent: get the edamame dumplings! Great happy hour prices. Meatloaf with mushroom gravy, great.
