   Beautiful environment, excellent food, and friendly (and fully bilingual) service. My one disappointment was value on the wine list. This is often a problem in even very nice Mexican restaurants. Here, one of the priciest bottles of wine, from Spain, was about $100 on the menu. It retails for $20 or less in the U.S. That is a bit steep for a mark-up. But it was good, and it complemented the excellent meal well.

   Everything was awesome. Only thing was the lamb was not medium rare as requested but still delicious, eggplant was not hot enough. Service was fabulous and the ambience was wonderful as always. Thank you!

   My first visit to Trio after hearing people talk about it—-it was as good as I’d heard. The food was excellent, menu manageable. We sat on a balcony with wonderful breezes and enjoyed the attention of our waitstaff, Marco in particular. I’ll be back next visit to Puerto Vallarta

   Still my favorite place sautéed calamari was outstanding. The meat salad is still the best in Puerto Vallarta. We had a wonderful time.

   Arguably the best food in Puerto Vallarta. Extremely classy place, everything top shelf and reasonably priced. We've dined here often and the restaurant never dissapoints.

   Although fairly Mexican in decor, there are strong elements of a French bistro. They characterize themselves as Mediterranean— but it’s more interesting than that. Lots of fresh local seafood and Mexican seasonings combined with Mediterranean basics , including pasta. The pasta with mushroom (special today) was outstanding in flavor and texture. The chuck roast was tender and gorgeously seasoned. Black forest cake has been frozen, we think, but beautifully presented, moist and with berries. Will definitely go again.

    Our evening at Trio was fantastic, from the food which was outstanding to the service (our waiter Marco was outstanding and made our evening over the top) be the BEST ever!! Trio made for such a great evening and our guests whom joined us & were visiting PV for the first time couldn’t stop talking about their meal and how great Marco was….can’t wait to dine there again !!
