    Groper was very fresh and prepared to perfection. Calamari was fresh and tender, very good but wish it included tentacles. Bread was crusty and tender inside with lovely flavored olive oil. Chicken parmigiana was tender, crusty coating, ample portion and flavorful sauce. Beggars Purse supper yummy. Best Caesar salad ever! Donnie, our server was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Other staff kept water glasses full. Comfortable booth, fresh starched table cloths. Restaurant was very clean and fresh. Rest rooms clean. Pricey, but everywhere is. Was a little noisy, but every table was full and people were enjoying themselves. Our new Vero Beach favorite!! We will be back.

    We had a wonderful dinner. The restaurant handled a busy evening with friendly and efficient staff. The noise level was a bit high with all the people but still memorable.

    I had the lobster bisque and Beggar’s Purse. The soup was excellent and had whole lobster pieces, while the entree, pasta stuffed with cheese and pear, was top notch, and enough to bring home for a second serving. My wife had the chicken marsala, which she said was just ok. Service was excellent and attentive. We sat outside and noise level was ok, but walking through the dinning room was very loud. I’d only recommend outdoor seating during busy times. One point of annoyance was the bill, which has recommended tips from 20% to 30% and the server waited while we filled in the amount. The tax is included in the tip percentage, but you shouldn’t tip on a sales tax. We’ve eaten at many fine restaurants in Vero Beach, and this would be one of the better ones.
