   I\the food and waitress was wonderful,,,,the noise level beyond believable. It was so loud and noisy I still have a headache and we ate on the porch…walking thru inside was just as loud, just terrible. Not you fault Poole have just gotten Lou and overbearing and most of the time have nothing to say…..ridiculous

   We LOVE Dario's! We can always rely on excel let food and wonderful service. My husband had Veal Piccata last night, which is consistently delicious, and I had one of the specials of the evening, a swordfish dish served on wilted baby spinach, with a few shrimp for decoration. It was fabulous! Probably the best swordfish I have ever eaten. One of our favorite things about Dario's is that the food is always HOT and the plates are also HOT! Nothing worse than lukewarm food on a cold plate! That's never the case at Dario's.

   The food was average to above average. The service was above average. We were seated at a table in the back of the restaurant with walls on two sides and only one other table was even visible from one of the seats where we were seated. It was a 2 person table. This table should not be used in this restaurant. It is as if you are not even part of the restaurant. I understand maximizing space, but no table should be in this space. We should have requested another table, so I guess I shoulder some of the blame. This table should be eliminated from restaurant seating.

    The atmosphere was a bit more casual than I expected based on their website, which I think is a plus. There were 4 of us and everything we had, both drinks and food, was excellent. It was so good we shared everything. I can recommend the grilled octopus, the oysters, the Beggar's Purse, the Carbonara, the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce, the Osso Buco (special) and the roasted beet salad. I would rate this as one of the top 3 dining experiences I've had at a Vero Beach Restaurant. Service was excellent, prices are not low but are reasonable for dining at this level.
