We made this reservation, it was confirmed via Open Table. The restaurant is closed. How does this happen? They still have an active website, the place was dark, no one answered the phone.

Food was mediocre, Ambiance bright white lighting should have been subdued. Service was okay. Menu items I believe is overpriced

We ordered three grouper sandwiches. We were very disappointed the looked exactly alike has if they were frozen. Also, it looked has if they were kept under the heat lamp for a long time. One of us ordered the tuna taco, it was also very disappointing mostly filler and over cooked tuna. I have a timeshare in the area and have eaten there for years, after this experience it will be several years before I darken their door again.

We went to Thistle Lodge Restaurant on our last evening in Sanibel to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is so beautiful both inside and out. Service was awesome as well. I had their signature dish which is scallops topped with lobster and crabmeat. My my my…Sweet Baby Jesus…That was heaven on a plate! Hubby had a fettuccine dish which he said was also delicious. It pretty much was a perfect dinner from our standpoint.

Went to Thistle for our anniversary. In the reservation thru Open table told them it was a special evening. I guess that part fell hru. Atmosphere was very nice and we had a nice tale overlooking the beach. We had the Lamb and Pasta. My complaints are the following. Wine was way over priced at 3 times the market value. Second, even though the menu states that 20% tip is added to large groups, we were a aprty of 2 and the 20% was added to the bill. And then they add that we can add a tip as if they had not already done so. Left with a bad taste after a nice dinner.

Lovely location overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in a charming resort. September on Sanibel is off season, so service is excellent. Wonderful time to visit. Jazzmyn provided friendly and efficient service. Delish food; beautifully presented. Highly recommend finishing off your meal with a slice of Key Lime Pie. One of the best (if not the Best) I've enjoyed over the years.
