   I could not believe how terrible the food was ! We ordered a flatbread pizza to start The bread was hard, obviously premade and the toppings barely hot. The chicken dish had no flavor at all . Not worth the money charged We will not be returning there

   On OpenTable we could only book the patio. What we didn’t know is it’s next to the valet pickup and car lights and exhaust would be experienced. Also we didn’t find the restaurant easy to maneuver with a handicap diner. Overall we were disappointed.

   My husband and I have lunch at The Woods two times per month. We always order off the dinner menu and we’ve never had a bad meal until today. Both our steaks( center cut ribeye for me and filet for him), were tough and overcooked. It’s really hard to spend $78 on a steak and not have it cooked to your liking. The service is always wonderful and they have an excellent wine selection (even by the glass)!

   I’ve never had such poor service coupled with an even more disappointing management response at a restaurant of this caliber. Our mistake was sitting out on the patio … but the noise level is so high inside that we thought this would be a better way to enjoy the company of our out of town guests. This was a mistake because it clearly contributed to the waitress’s inability to provide even a basic level of service. We had long waits FOR EVERYTHING related to the bar … the first round of drinks, then for the second of drinks we ordered a bottle of wine … that one of us were currently enjoying. We waited… and waited while our first round emptied. Finally, the waitress returned (solid 10 minutes or more) only to be told that they didn’t have any more bottles of that wine. She did not bring the wine list so we waited another 5 minutes for her to come back and she quickly left without a new order. Eventually she returned BUT … dinner arrived by this time so I asked her to ask the manager if we could get a price break on an $80 bottle (our original request was $62) she said that they don’t do that so I gave her a backup bottle if a price break wasn’t granted. We ate as slowly as we could (we also at this point had asked THREE people including the waitress for salt and pepper… it never arrived). I finished my meal … all of us without a glass of wine or any drink with our dinner. I stepped inside and politely informed the manager that our dining experience was atrocious, very disappointing and embarrassing as we brought guests. He said, he was sorry for our experience and walked away. He never came to our table, he actually had the waitress continue to finish the service by delivering the bill … and telling us that she was really busy inside with other patrons (her only excuse for the lousy service). We paid our $300 bill which offered nothing in recompense and left. Needless to say… we won’t be back. There are many, many other restaurants that offer much better.

   The chicken picatta was terrible. Very, very bland. Reminded me of cheap diner meal. On the other hand the salmon was delicious! And cooked perfectly. Hard to believe these two dishes came out of the same kitchen.
