    I never expect to get an outstanding meal here, but the portions are large, complimentary sparkling water, convenient location, and VERY good service makes The Smith easy to return to.

    My friend ordered the burger plain. When it arrived it had all the trimmings she had asked NOT to to be served. The waiter apologized and acknowledged she had received the incorrect item. A fresh new one was made but it take awhile and we were slightly late for our next stop. My salmon tartare was awful. It was made up of salmon that certainly was not fresh or raw. It tasted like it was pureed canned salmon! Not likely to return.

    We had an excellent wait person. Very professional, friendly, thoughtful and diligent. Overall great hospitality service performance. Wish all were like her!

    The food was so good - I got he grilled chicken sandwich with homefries and my Dad got the steak and eggs. The drinks were also great ) Ig ot a few rounds of mimosas, and the ambiance/waiter staff were really kind and friendly.

    Unfortunately we were given an in between limited menu while the rest of the customers that were being seated 5 minutes after us were given The Smith’s full dinner menu, even after I requested the full menu. Very poor customer service and actually kinda racist and very disappointing. Imagine making an actual Open Table reservation while the people who walked in off of the street were given better service and access to the FULL MENU a mere 5 minutes after we were seated. The waiter could have just given us the full menu, but instead chose not to. My husband and I watched everyone around us receive full dinner menus while being forced to choose from the limited menu. Very disappointing experience all around and we were also seated in the back of the restaurant when there were tons of available seats up front. This lackluster experience needs to be rectified and corrected.

    Very good experience! I went to The Smith for brunch before the opera at Lincoln Center. Delicious! I got the salmon eggs benedict and my mom got a traditional eggs benedict. Everything was great, but she would have appreciated a bit more hollandaise sauce. Solid choice! Would definitely come back again!
