   It was the first time found to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The setting is beautiful and feels very special and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and good value. The issue we had was with the service. I had to get up to find our waiter 3 times. The last time to learn that the waitress had stepped out and the other waiter was supposed to check on us but hadn’t so that out a damper on the evening but overall, we will likely return.

   We've been here multiple times. Food is great, ambience is beautiful. The service however this time was super slow. The food took over an hour to come out, and when it did, they brought the appetizer and main course at the same time. The kitchen and wait staff seemed understaffed.

   Read the reviews on OpenTable thought the restaurant food was at best mediocre. Service was attentive, and the grounds were amazing

   Absolutely a beautiful restaurant with some nice ambiance. My wife and I both loved the entrees we ordered. The only thing that seem to be lacking was service. They became somewhat busy as we expected on New Year’s Eve. We had to track down our server to get our check. Overall the good outweighs the bad. We would most likely go back.

   It is rare for me to be giving a full-on negative review.    When we ate here last year, we thought we'd found a gem! Delicious food, reasonable prices, and pretty good service (we gave the young waitress a few tips on how to serve wine). We were looking forward to our return to Tierra del Sol.  The noise level was unbearable, you had to lean in hard to hear the person next to you.   And then 30 minutes after being seated they put 6 kids on the table beside us and their parents further away.... Crazy, especially when there was seating and open tables in another part of the restaurant, enough for the kids and their parents. We had one menu between the 6 of us, rather bizarre.  How do they provide service when the place is full?  The waitress required guidance on how to use a corkscrew for the wine and eventually one of my guests did 90% of the effort (which I think he enjoyed doing).   The prices, wow, unbelievable, an increase of about 30% or more, with little change in the serving sizes or quality (which is quite good). For the above reasons, we won't be returning.

   The food was very good, we went on New Year’s Eve the service was ok I think they may have needed more help but the staff did the best they could. Lam was working hard to make sure everyone was happy.
