The Pink Adobe restaurant stands proudly in the heart of Santa Fe's historic Barrio De Analco neighborhood, which is considered the oldest neighborhood in the US. Founded in 1944 by Rosalea Murphy, an artist and social connector, the restaurant takes its name from the rose-colored adobe plastering on the nearly 400-year-old hacienda that serves as its home. This iconic Santa Fe destination at the heart of the Old Santa Fe Trail has been known for its fun, vibrant atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. Some of the famous well-known dishes are still existing such as the Steak Dunnigan, French Onion Soup and Hot Apple Pie among with new and innovative creations from our Executive Chef Mario de Leon.

I love the food here, and knew I was going to order Steak Dunigan, my spouse had the Gypsy Stew and we finished with French Apple Pie. I don’t even need a menu! Yum!

We had a party of 6. It was a special birthday celebration and notified the hostess and she assured me they knew and would do something to acknowledge the birthday. After spending nearly a thousand dollars, our server did absolutely nothing other than a half hearted happy birthday. As we were leaving after I had already complained to management. We won’t return.

The ambience and warmth of the old Pink Adobe is gone. The name should be changed so that past patrons don’t expect what used to be.

Overall was average. Food was good but too salty. The menu is nothing out of the world, the could have better options. Wine list is poor, and was overpriced . Service was not the best, they need to do a better job training the waiters. Ambience is nice if you are not in the middle of the runs.

I had the Shrimp Huarache. The description said that it would be served on a blue corn tostada which was undercooked and terrible. I did not eat it. The black bean purée was fine but there was very little. I will say that the shrimp was plentiful and very flavorful, the only saving grace to the meal. My husband and I split the Pink Adobe salad which was fine, but we were charged and extra $4 for the split which I thought was a bit exorbitant. I also order a special Margarita with Mescal and asked for Grand Marnier instead of Cointreau. I was charged $17 for the Margarita and an extra $14 for the Grand Marnier, which I thought was outrageous. My husband just paid the bill and we will never go back.

Such a beautiful space! Service was excellent and very attentive. Their homemade salsa is still my favorite salsa I’ve ever had.

A very pleasant dining experience, with great food enjoyed in a very serene, elegant and cosy dining room; where the servers were very attentive, but not intrusive, all at very good value for money.
