My daughter and I had an amazing experience at the Plaza today. Food, service, ambience exceeded our expectations. Will absolutely be doing this a few times a year.

Iconic location, excellent ambiance. Poised and attentive staff. Good food. Tea was lighter than I prefer. Scones were lovely. The short rib and the chicken sandwiches were a bit stale. The salmon and cucumber sandwiches were excellent. Desserts were hit and miss. The hazelnut dessert was perfection. Overall glad we went as a bucket list item but felt the value for money wasn’t quite there.

Our server was very attentive and made sure food items containing allergens were replaced with safe food items. The tea sandwiches were well made except I didnot care for the foie gras sandwich on macaron. The taste and texture were off for me. Would prefer savory sandwiches.

Extremely overpriced for kids frozen chicken tenders. My martini wasn’t even chilled. Pretty spot, but terrible food.

We had a good experience celebrating a 50th birthday. My wife is a celiac and the gluten free menu was well done and most importantly safe for celiacs. The room and ambience is very sophisticated. Food was generally good though the cakes were a bit disappointing. The service was surprisingly quite flat. We had a lovely time but the overall experience was not quite the wow factor that we were expecting.

Kind of dark in there. Not The Palm Court I remember and $500 tea for two - the room empty - I think they could have been more generous in letting us sit and finish our food (1.5 hr limit). The bus staff literally picked up the tray with all our desserts and took it away. The waiter was fabulous and fun and made the moment. Excellent service. Probably won’t return. Better teas in NYC.
