   A birthday celebration to remember! Staff very attentive and food delicious. Can highly recommend the seabass special followed by the bakewell pudding. My husband's pork fillet with crackling said it was one of the best he's ever had. Praise indeed and compliments to the chef.We didn't feel rushed and were able to enjoy every moment. Thank you! Our first visit and definitelywon't be our last.

   As always, the food at the Opposition was of a very high standard. It is, however, seriously overpriced. The main concern I have, though, is the awful lighting! It is so very bright that you feel as though the tremendously harsh overhead spotlights are actually baking your head! Lighting in a restaurant should make you feel relaxed and comfortable, not cause migraine.

   Excellent food and service as ever. I have lived and dined in Stratford for 18 years and this restaurant, in my opinion, is the best on Sheep Street. Why do I say that? Not only is the food consistently good and I have never had a bad meal, but the staff are absolutely fantastic.

   We had a tight schedule but were greeted immediately, settled and served without fuss in a calm and friendly manner. The food and drink suited us well and was of a good quality. Our first time here and certainly not the last.

    What a lovely restaurant! The staff are friendly, yet subtle. The food was beautiful. The restaurant was busy, buzzing but still quiet enough to hold a full intimate conversation. We can't thank you enough for the perfect start to a lovely evening.
