   Was celebrating my son’s birthday. Food, portions, and service were good. Everyone enjoyed themselves as nd had plenty to eat!

   Very small portions and the service was terrible except at the end when he wanted to turn the table.

   This was actually a very disappointing experience. I was celebrating my 50th birthday with family and hadn’t been to Melting Pot in years. I had remembered Melting Pot being a fun experience. This was not. The server accidentally spilled and broke a full glass of red wine on my new cream shirt. I felt bad because I know she was embarrassed. While we helped her clean the table, she said I will talk to my manager to see what he can do. We then had no eating utensils or napkins for the first course because our server didn’t return. Ultimately at the end of the meal, when we were stuffed after eating half of the chocolate fondue dessert, the manager comes out with the bill and another plate of dessert saying he took off one glass of wine. It was the least he could do. You don’t say? My shirt is ruined and I obviously couldn’t drink the glass of wine spilled on me and you are so kind as to not make me pay for it? I was shocked as this is a higher end restaurant and I would expect a better experience. The food was average and I had to sit through the meal with a wet shirt. We asked to speak to his manager who said he was sorry but he really couldn’t do more. He could pay me out of his own pocket for a new shirt. First of all, the shirt was from a high end retailer so the bottle of wine was a fraction of the price. I was really just so annoyed they acted like I should be grateful they weren’t making me pay for that glass. They said The Melting Pot could not take responsibility for the incident. So I’m sure you can understand this was a terrible experience. The environment was not what it used to be and it was not an upscale experience. They certainly do not belong in the same class as the restaurants they are trying to compete with. I get better service and quality from Chick-fil-A.

   Justin our server (who’s also the manager) was AWESOME!! He made all sorts of great suggestions and had us laughing the whole time! Thank you for the amazing experience 😊

   We dined on 2/27 for pit first kid free date night in a LONG time! Erin was absolutely fabulous!!! She told us at one point that she just started and I made sure to let her know she was doing great! (People are too quick to complain about stupid stuff) But seriously, I can’t see anything she could of done differently as she was very personable, kept checking on us and even if she happened to think she was away too long (she wasn’t) she would apologize for the wait! I would just tell her “you’re fine and doing great!” Keep up the great work Erin and we hope to see you again soon! Oh, and sorry the Justin Timberlake concert was cancelled! Hope you still got to uber some people home!

   Enjoyed the experience. A bit pricey though. Can add some character to ambience with statues and Art work.

   For being a regular customer to melting pot and suggesting to go here with a group of 6 was a huge mistake. Not only was this the worst experience, I would not recommend this location. Our reservation was at 6:30, although we did wait for 2 others to show up, we were leaving the restaurant after being there for over 3 hours. Never got the salad that was part of our $80 meal per person. Our server brought the main broth (after being there for over an hour and a half) and took 30 additional minutes to bring our raw meat, which then sat next to our table, on a tray, for additional time because she checked on another table before placing our raw meat on our table. The bar had one bartender for the entire restaurant, so drinks were also slow. Not entirely our serves fault, however 3 drinks were never put into the system after 3 other drinks were sitting on the counter waiting to be brought to our table for 10 minutes (we were sitting right by the bar and ordered the drinks 30 minutes prior). Being in the restaurant industry for 6+ years as a server and bartender and I have never written a “bad review”, but this experience was truly unacceptable.

    We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Melting Pot. We had a wonderful time, The waiter Ryan was excellent. The bar tender Justin was so enjoyable. The food and drinks were excellent. We can't wait to go back. We highly recommend Melting Pot for an exceptional experience.
