Led by Chef William Dissen, our restaurant celebrates the vibrant flavors of the region with a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from within a 100-mile radius of Asheville. We're proud to have been named a semi-finalist for the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. The restaurant was very empty and we were offered a table by the waiter stand. We asked to change. While at dinner the restaurant called me to see if we were coming. Very disorganized. Tge food snd service however was great.

The food service and ambiance was lovely. My husband had the pork chop which was seasoned very well and was deliciously tender. I had the agnolotti with ricotta and fresh corn. It was a Lovely succulent combination. You don’t see agnolotti on very many menus so I was excited to order it. Everything seemed home made ( the pasta, the sourdough bread) and we enjoyed every bite. The restaurant itself is smallish but there’s plenty of privacy and quiet. It’s wonderful to find a restaurant where you actually hear your dining companion. Bravo!

Located on a quaint side street and deceptively small from the outside. Food and service was exceptional and would definitely return.

We went to eat at the marketplace for our anniversary dinner. Leo was extremely helpful, accommodating and made excellent recommendations. What was especially nice was the handwritten anniversary card that the restaurant presented us when we arrived. Excellent touch to make you feel special!

Food was not what we expected, Service was even worse. Waiter had absolutely no personality, the only thing really good about the night. Was it tomato salad. It was our anniversary and they wrote us a nice handwritten card.

The food was very average. The service was good (meaning our server was friendly). But the kitchen was incredibly slow. We waited almost an hour for each course.
