The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East in a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged.

The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes.

Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of this and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like."

And the service doesn"t end with the food. Table 301 has an entire network of vendors, for everything from floral arrangements to flatware, chairs and tents. Table 301 is the best choice for wedding receptions, cocktail parties, luncheons, meetings, in home dinners and fundraising events.

    The Lazy Goat is available during the day for breakfast, lunch, and meetings. In the evenings The Lazy Goat is wonderful for dinner and seminars. On the weekends we are available for rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions.

    My husband and I decided to choose The Lazy Goat for date night. Our dining experience was amazing. We had the goat cheese balls and the chicken skewers as appetizers and both were outstanding. Our entrees were the beef coulotte and the halibut. Both were exceptionally prepared and delicious. The dishes had subtle Mediterranean flavor that provided a unique yet appealing taste. The crème brûlée for dessert was perfection. We enjoyed our cozy table situated by the window with the view of the river. The atmosphere was lively and warm with a moderate noise level that made the environment comfortable enough to still have enjoyable and private conversation. This is a new favorite and we will definitely return again in the future!

    Best meal I've had in a while. We haven't been here since last spring mainly because we we not too excited about the same menu options. They must have updated their menu recently and we were happy to see it. Service was excellent as always and our meals were very well prepared. We'll be back soon!

    Our server was friendly, professional, and helpful in choosing our wine and food. Everything was delicious. She also made sure that the timing was good on the various shared plates that we ordered. The Lazy Goat is one of our favorite places to eat in Greenville.

    We went to the Lazy Goat for restaurant week and it did not disappoint. The Brussels Sprouts were excellent. Our entrees were fairly good, although the swordfish was a bit over cooked. The chocolate pot de creme desert was excellent and the creme brulee cheesecake was very good. I really liked the decor and ambience of the place -- we got there at 5 pm on a Friday and it filled up quickly!

    Service was slow at first. Server a bit rude but attentive eventually. Prefixed menu tasty but glacé on my steak was blah. Yummy truffle fries!

    We had the selections from the restaurant week menu. Each course was delicious. The brussels sprouts are better than any other restaurants I've tried. We also purchased the wine pairing with our meal. Each wine was well thought out and balanced with each course perfectly. Thanks for an enjoyable meal.

    I had the SC swordfish on the special menu and it was excellent. Done perfectly and had alot of flavor, even without the sauce. My husband had the Pork Osso Bucco which he thought was also very good, but would have liked some more sauce on the pork. Most of it was on the polenta. Our waiter was very good and we would come back again.
