                                                                                            We went for a Christmas celebration date night and we were not disappointed- we were seated right away in a romantic location with prompt and almost frightening friendly service. I did get a cocktail that was totally disgusting, but that was probably my fault for going out on a limb- everything else was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. We will make going here a holiday tradition!

                                                                                            We always have a good experience at The Keg. It is a Christmas Eve tradition for our family to go there for dinner. Everyone's food was good but my steak was overcooked.

                                                                                            I took my daughter to dinner on Christmas Eve at the keg. The servers were wonderful. The bread that they offer at the beginning of the meal is wonderful. I would not change a thing .The waiter was very nice, but my steak was completely overcooked. They did offer to make me a new one, but to be honest, I wasn’t up for waiting for another steak. The seasonal vegetables were green beans that were overcooked very mushy and with red beets (beets looked like they were pre sliced from the can) that had no flavor whatsoever.. the vegetables weren’t even seasoned. It looked as if there was just butter on it. i’m assuming they were trying to go for Christmas colors with the green and the red, but I would sacrifice the look of my vegetables for improved taste .My daughter didn’t really enjoy her hamburger and fries. The waiter was very sweet and offered me a slice of their carrot cake. I did say no a few times because I don’t like walnuts and I don’t like pineapple which was in the cake, but he was persistent so I took it not really wanting it. In All, I would say that the service is very good. The ambience is wonderful. I think the food could use some improvement, especially on a day where it should be special. I’m a single mom and I don’t typically go out to that kind of a restaurant often but I wanted to make it a great experience for my daughter.

                                                                                            The food was excellent, as was or server but the music was terrible and it has changed from what it used to be for a nice, relaxing dining experience and for the higher end establishment it is. The music was hiphop, face paced techno which is appropriate more for a sports bar, not The Keg.

                                                                                            Our overall experience was good, only comment I will make it the table we sat at needed some attention. Both booths were broken and sunken down, the light fell off the wall and the table constantly moved. Definitely distracted us from our dining experience.

                                                                                            Always the best in all respects. I would usually give 5 stars but on this visit baked potatoes for three of us were served cold. They were quickly replaced and everything else was fine.
