   For my birthday lunch, we were greeted nicely and sat 15 min ahead of our reservation time, but sat at a table very close to the front door with attendant draft, however, there was a Happy Birthday sign on our table. Our waiter was fairly quick, the menu was fantastic, but our appetizer of deviled eggs came after our entrees. My order of the Eggs Benedict Oscar was absolutely wonderful, my husband's breakfast burger, ordered medium well meat and egg, was overdone on both counts, so that he only ate half and brought half home for the dog. The desserts were wonderful and my birthday Honeysuckle pie was given at no-charge, which was very nice, and also a nice touch of a "card" signed by the staff. Overall, we will definitely come back, ask for a table farther in to the restaurant and order another of many good sounding choices.

   We arrived for our reservation at 6:30pm and our drink order was taken. We did not receive drinks until 7:15. My food (shrimp and grits) was delicious but my husband’s filet was cold. Another person in our group’s food was also cold. We were celebrating a friend’s 60th birthday and brought a cake there the day before. Our server knew nothing about it and after we told her about it, it wasn’t brought out. When we spoke to the manager, she replied, “Merry Christmas.” None of the ten in our group will ever be back.

   We went and had a great appetizer, had a great Cesar salad, when our steak came it was cold!!!! Also it came 4 mins after we ordered the steaks and it was vary alarming. Anyway it was cold and the manager wanted to recook the steak which is very unappealing. When you pay $90 for a streak you except it to be cooked as such. We left and went to Del Frisco’s . Much better!!!

   The food and drinks were really good, but we booked this reservation for a birthday. The waitress never told my mom happy birthday even after I mentioned it in front of her... twice. The food was good, but it was a disappointing experience for a special occasion. I would go back, but not if I was celebrating anything.

   What happened to this place? So disappointing. The place was a ghost town on a Saturday night. Service wasn’t great - they really need to work on training staff. She was trying but clearly wasn’t trained in how to give proper service. Didn’t know how to properly serve a bottle of wine. Didn’t make any recommendations - for example; we were a table of 8, and ordered the shrimp appetizer along with two other apps. It came with FOUR shrimp for $20. She could have told us the portion and perhaps made a recommendation to order two of these or something else that would be enough for everyone. Also the Kitchen was out of items they should have had. Prices were high and portions small. Cocktails weren’t great. Bathrooms filthy. Mouse traps in the hallway. Yuck. Food was sub par. We told the manager our concerns but no effort was made to remedy it. He said he’s look into it. We won’t be returning.

    Dinner for 7, including one child, with two rounds of drinks, was $575 before gratuity. Food was mid. Atmosphere was nice but lighting was so bright. Food was served on cast iron dishes, but they weren't preheated so food was cold quickly. $55 ribeye wouldn't have been worth more than $12 at the grocery and was not the best cut. Can't complain about service, but the food is desperate for a chef. You can't charge expense report prices in the suburbs if the food doesn't meet expectations. If I come back, the $22 cheeseburger is probably the safe bet.
