Candlelight Tea was spectacular! All of the tasty sandwiches and pastries were divine. The ambiance is amazing. The penicillin drink was great! Kinda tastes like a lemon bandaid at first but turns into more lemon mule like to finish. No candles though. I figured since it was a candlelight tea there would be candles ? Steak pie was fantastic. Everything was amazing except the price..lol but that’s to be expected at a place like the prince of wales.

It was our 45th wedding anniversary a day earlier. We had requested a table near the window 10 days earlier. Inspite of it being vacant throughout, we were made to sit in the middle. We're almost 70 and wanted something quieter. I wofk for Niagara Health and it's very rare that we get a chance to go out. We've stayed in this hotel during pendamic and we're super treated because of my services. Food and service was good as expected but we could have been given our choice table. It was still vacant 30 minutes after we left as we were in the hotel. I feel maybe it was to be given to someone younger or white. I hope that was not the case and you guys don't discriminate. Would look forward for an explanation before I spread the word around at my place of work.

As with everything in NOTL, the prices went up and the quality of food went down. Service was excellent as always, however tea was not good. Scones and cookies were burnt, tea was Luke warm and who the heck puts grilled vegetables in a croissant. The hummus cup was a mouthful of salt, literally, I saw almost everyone spit it out. My husband doesn’t eat salmon, egg or cucumber but they usually have ham or turkey. They replaced the meat sandwich with the grilled vegetables on a croissant , which was just wrong. I asked our server if the kitchen in the large dining room could make him a ham and cheese sandwich and she said no, they were too busy. I would have paid extra. I looked over to the dining room and it was half empty. I paid $155 for this tea, and he ate a burnt scone and the desserts. Last year the valentines tea was amazing. What happened?? Our server and the hostess were perfect. Very kind and courteous.

The Candlelight Tea service was enchanting! The food was sublime. The tea was flavourful and piping hot. The ambiance was thrilling- antique furniture with big band tunes playing. It made for a wonderfully romantic evening. The staff was attentive and prompt with requests. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a romantic high tea service.

Great service. Great food! Loud restaurant, but not the fault of the business. If you want a quieter time schedule closer to 5pm I was told.
