   Well this place doesn’t disappoint the ambience is amazing. The quality of the food is bang on i will be back as im back in Bristol living now

   That was the best roast I have had all year The beef was melt in the mouth delicious The roasts super crunchy and fluffy inside Everything was just delectable Shall definitely return on our next visit

   Upon arrival we were shown straight to our table, our order for food and drinks were taken within 5 minutes. Friendly staff, great service, hearty food & we weren’t rushed to leave. Would definitely recommend!

   It was a Saturday night and very busy but the Chequers team handled everything very well. Our waitress May looked after us beautifully and took the time with us to make sure our food choices were good. Chequers also gave us the table that we had requested. We will be back!

The food is excellent, with portions that feel just right—enough to satisfy without being overwhelming. A standout dish is undoubtedly the dripping chips, which are an absolute must-try.    This really was one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten in over 6 years. Service was outstanding. Food was flavourful with some special ingredients. The portions were generous too. We couldn’t help ourselves and had to have three courses. A truly wonderful find. We will deffo be back!

   This was genuinely one of the very best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had. The restaurant is comfortable without being pretentious, the staff are so helpful and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Very high quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Will most certainly be returning and would highly recommend!

    Wow. Two of us had roast pork, one had roast beef. We all agreed it was the best roast we have had out at a pub in many years. Good value too, we’ve been to places that cost the same and are not half as nice. We had no idea you were Michelin accredited. Keep doing what you are doing, we were so impressed.
