The food is consistently of a very high quality. The atmosphere is comfortably upscale. Just fancy enough. The servers are attentive and always willing to answer your questions. If they can't, they find someone who can. It's a great experience to be a part of the training process of the people who will be working in and operating restaurants around the world. I highly recommend dining at The Chefs House.

Today was our first visit to this restaurant, and it was our server's first day on the job. A few serving mistakes were made, but were quickly corrected by Jason, the front-of-house Manager. The food was VERY good and beautifully presented. The glassware is exquisite, and the linens were high quality. I found the restaurant noisy (lots of hard surfaces , and fan noise from the kitchen) but my friend did not. Parking is always a challenge downtown- and this was no exception. I am always delighted to help anyone starting out in their career, so I would definitely go back.

The quality and presentation of the food was exquisite. GF bread - the best I've ever had - was freshly baked for my order and the crème bruleé was modified accordingly as well. Staff were attentive and keen to please. Also, the design of the restaurant was very attractive and well-functioning. Today was the first day of their semester! VERY impressive.

Unfortunately it was a terrible experience, especially for the price. I would avoid this place. The only decent thing was the soup. The falafel was dry with no seasoning, the chicken was dry and tortilla was cold. The dessert with with passion fruit puree was basically the worst kind of passion fruit juice poured onto some pudding. The service was terrible, there were groups of servers in the most unprofessional manner, they were awkward with laying down even the forks! We had such high hopes but a complete let down.

Hello Mazz, Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear that your experience was disappointing. We understand the instructional team substituted the falafel dish when the issue was brought to their attention. Upon further investigation, the falafel batch was found to be under seasoned and was rectified. As a live teaching and learning enterprise, mistakes sometimes do unfortunately occur. The team were not aware during service that the chicken dish and the panna cotta did not meet your expectations. Our semester has just begun and this is a new cohort of students beginning their applied learning program. We value live feedback which is critical to student learning. We have discussed this as a team to identify how to improve the experience for guests. Thank you, The Chefs' House

Great value for money with a constantly changing menu. What I love is that the restaurant is an educational setting for students to learn the art and craft of operating a restaurant. The professional oversight is outstanding and the students are keen to ensure you have a good experience. Love the place.

4th visit this year. All student run. The service is a little tentative, so be nice to your servers and draw them out. The food is terrific. And the value for money outstanding.

The experience was amazing. The food was incredible and the server Leo and Monica our assistant server both were great. He made suggestions, a little chat, and made the experience very pleasant.
