The Oysters Rockefeller were luke warm could not even finish them, when I let them know I was told “ We’ll let the chef know” and that was it. Took a while to get our food , no one bothered to clear the appetizer plates until the main course came. We all ordered steaks and the server brought us steak knife’s when we were pretty much done eating ( using our butter knife’s). Also brought the toppings for the sweet potatoe when we almost finished eating it. On a good note, the steaks for cooked perfectly, the creamed spinach was pipping hot ( because I requested it that way). The dining experience at the Palace Station charcoal room was much better than this one so I am not sure we will return. Sorry just being honest.

This was a great experience overall. Flavors of the food was phenomenal. The calamari was a little spicy and could do with less pepper flakes on it since there’s already sliced peppers and a spicy sauce, but it was good. The scallops and steak were phenomenal. Price steep for a small Caesar salad and the scallops were also pricey.. $6+ per scallop is a bit excessive in my opinion.

We had eaten in the Charcoal Room years ago and remembered it well. The food quality was far beyond our expectations though. The cinammon raisin bread in the basket was so good, I would want to purchase a loaf to take home. The steak was done perfectly & the garlic cilantro sauce was fabulous. We ordered the gorgonzola fondue as a side so we could share it, and I think it would be better right on the steak as they recommend. It congealed pretty quickly, and I didn't care for it, but my husband really liked it. The chopped salad was delicious and big enough to share. The drink were also really good (margarita, espresso martini & keoni coffee drink tried at our table). We were there on Thanksgiving, and the service was so friendly. We joyfully left a very good tip, as it was well deserved. The only thing we didn't care for in a nice and expensive steakhouse such as this was the number of televisions in the space. They really detracted from the ambiance in our opinion. We remembered the restaurant having a more cozy feeling, and that was not the case this time. However, the quality of the food & service more than made up for this. We will be back.

Service perhaps was spread too thin based on how many patrons arrived for Thanksgiving dinner? Not sure, but we did not have enough attention to meet our expectations for a casino steakhouse. Bus and delivery staff were fantastic, but the waiter never checked on us after the steaks were served. He had to be summoned to our table for drink service and other needs. He seemed put out. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the specialty cocktails! Winter's Ballad rif on an old fashioned was marvelous.

Even though it was Thanksgiving day and they were not busy, the service was below par had to keep on calling for the waiter had to keep on asking for refills did not clear away any of the dishes until I asked very disappointed with the service. My food came out cold. I had to get them to reheat it.

We love The Charcoal Room at Santa Fe Station, so decided that it would be the perfect place to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our server was professional yet friendly, explained our questions very well, and was excellent at observing discretely to keep the meal moving at a good pace. I started with lobster bisque and it did not disappoint - savory and so good with their bread that I could have made a meal of that. I chose the petite filet which is 8 ounces and plenty big for me and paired with grilled asparagus and mushrooms to share. The filet was cooked to perfection - medium rare - and was very tender. We will definitely dine here again as it helped to make this Thanksgiving a perfect day.

Steaks were unusually salty. Server was slow to initially get to the table, then took drink, appetizer, and entry order all at once (felt rushed) He came back to table once to refill wine glass then disappeared the remainder of our meal. Had to ask manager to get me a check as we were so annoyed we wanted to leave. Manager brought check and didnt bother to ask about the service or offer desserts. Really disappointed for a steak house at that price range.
