   The dinner (rib eye and fillet mignon) was excellent. The server (Adam) provided everything upon request. He made the evening a joy for us. I’m planning another outing when the weather gets warmer.

   Had a 6:30 reservation for 4 but wasn’t seated until 7:15. Completely unacceptable.

    I would been okay with the price of the DC Capital Grille Thanksgiving turkey plate being double from what I’m used to paying at my Florida Capital Grille if the quality had been the same. That being said, the food arrived cold, dry and tasteless. The meager portion looked to be scraps of turkey leftover rather than the thick & juicy turkey breast slices I’m used to. The stuffing which is usually my favorite thing about the Capital Grille Thanksgiving plate tasted like nothing. The beans and onions were okay but not great especially not since they were the coldest thing on the plate next to the cranberry sauce which appeared to have been coming out directly of the freezer. The parts of the dry scraps of meat that were touched by that dollop of gravy were warm because of it. All in all food wise not only not worth the money but a scam. The waiter came by once after I had finished the meal (I’m not one to waste food, good or bad) to refill my drink, that would have been helpful earlier when I was trying to get the dry turkey down. He didn’t ask if everything was okay or I would have told him. It would have been hard for him to hear me though given that I was sitting at a table that had no business being where it was which was right by the bar and people kept hitting me or my table with their coats and purses as they were standing over me chatting with their party seated at the bar. One person had bathed in the most horrific scent of perfume which was also not helping the tasteless food taste better. Overall a waste of money, time, food and energy and not only will I not be going back this Capital Grille, I don’t think I’ll be going back to any Capital Grille after today. A beloved annual tradition down the drain.
