   Oh it was so terrible. So embarrassing to the guests and hopefully the management. At the end they came and offered us way too sweet desserts (creme burlee way too sweet) the waitress took our order for appetizers and seemingly couldn't understand what we were asking. She then stood there asking us if we wanted to order the main course. We all asked for Ceasar salad. One person didn't want the cheese grated on top. I ordered lamp chops, the other guest order some type of meat and the xeasar salad guest with no cheese on top ordered lobster tail. We ordered two sides a creamed corn and potatoes. The salads for two of us came out but not for the no cheese guest. The waitress was obviously very busy and when things are fou f wrong they have a way of hiding from you. Then the caesar salad come out with the lobster tail question why wasn't it served with the rest of us as an appetizer? Of course it was topped with a block of cheese. Couldn't find the waitress to complain so the cheese was scraped off. No appetizers came. Finally got the attention of the waitstaff to complain about the salad and the answer was well cheese is in the salad dressing? Huh. The point was the guest didn't want the extra cheese on top. So we ask where are the two appetizers and of course the answer is they are really backed up in the kitchen. So why bring our food if there are no sides. Waited until we almost finished and told the waitstaff just forget the sides. Manager comes over apologizes and offers us the free desserts. Capital Grill in Memohis is considered fine dining. You don't go there to be frustrated, embarrassed and have a subpart meal. It was truthfully Shocking how poor everything was. Their excuse was we had a big party? Who gives a Sh….. What they had to deal with. The rest of the restaurant was not busy. They also sat us in the “lane” before you got in the main dining area so we suffered with the back and forth where waitstaff were going j to the private dining room

   Great service, food and drinks! The steak was cooked to perfection! Lobster Mac and cheese was delicious!

   Overall, it is not the experience that I have become accustomed to at Capital Grille locations across the USA. The salad was wrong, the lobster Mac and cheese was a bust - none to just a couple of small pieces of lobster. $24 Mac and cheese is a lot when it lacks the lobster. Then, at the conclusion of the dinner, I felt rushed as the server grabbed our dinner plates and it felt like they were rushing to turn the table (which is odd because it was not crowded). Overall, it was a very high priced mediocre dinner. Have had much better steak dinners for 1/3 of the price.

   Capital Grille is our go to place for birthday and anniversary. We always request Daryl for our server as he will make sure we are well taken care of! The steaks are consistently outstanding. Thank you Daryl for making my birthday dinner special!
