Appetizers were good, especially sushi rolls. Cioppino was just okay. Fish was fresh but broth had a strange flavor, not my favorite and I’ve had a lot of cioppinos. Heated patio was nice. Inside restaurant noise level was too high to enjoy a nice dinner with conversation

Fabulous location & ambience on the water! The fresh halibut was perfectly prepared & delicious. My friend said her fish & chips was delicious, & the crab club sandwich also got great reviews. Service was excellent.

I arranged a birthday lunch for my friend who drive down from LA. We sat at a lovely table on the deck overlooking the water and boats. We order the oysters with shallots which were chilled and delicious. Then we split two sushi rolls and the fish tacos (3 in a plate with black beans) . Our waitress was delightful and everyone from the hostess to the busboys were terrific! I think it was worth every penny and I’ll be back again and again. It’s a favorite of mine and I’ve been coming for over 40 years!! 🍣🐬😄💕

Took my three daughters on date night. We pick this restaurant out of a bowl of recommended places to eat from friends in Newport Beach. The location and restaurant is beautiful inside. From valet to sitting down was excellent service and kindness. However, the dinner was a huge disappointment. Highly recommended by close friends, we were looking forward to great food and night out. The salad wedge was good to go. The Filet was good to go. The hamburger order medium was overcooked and dry. Fries were soggy not crisp. The side order of mac & cheese was watery and had no flavor. My daughter and I ordered the two specials. The halibut was the catch of the day. It was undercooked raw and very fishy on most bites and mash potatoes bland. My daughter’s dish of Gnocchi with seafood was not fresh. She tried about three bites and was done. The Specials were terrible. My daughter and I didn’t feel well about hour later after we got home with stomach aches. 3 out of 4 dishes was poorly made/served and poor quality of seafood was enough for us. We passed on dessert. We will not be returning to this restaurant nor recommending this place. However, if you are there to drink at the bar and watch sports, it seemed to be a good time.
