Service was amazing, found the ambiance a little too dark for the middle of the day but the decor is lovely

Honestly, this was the best meal I have had at a restaurant - EVER. I had corn ribs to start and then the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was unreal. I would highly recommend.

We've been regular customers at this restaurant for quite some time, and it's always been our go-to place for family celebrations and special occasions. We'd genuinely been looking forward to our visit all day, building up expectations for the lovely meal we always have here. Unfortunately, this time we were left feeling thoroughly disappointed. Things got off to a poor start. Despite having a booking, we were asked to arrive early, only to then have to wait a good 30 minutes for our table to actually be ready. While they did offer a complimentary drink to make up for it, the initial wait wasn't ideal. The main issue, however, was a significant change to the menu, specifically concerning their signature "Rib Feast". This dish used to be the main reason we came – it was generous, easily enough for two people to share. Now, it seems to be the same price, but the portion is considerably smaller. Crucially, the mac and cheese and roasted corn, which we recall being part of the feast, are now separate side orders you have to pay extra for. The reduction in the amount of meat for the same cost was noticeable. To make matters worse, we ordered one "Rib Feast" per couple, and there was a stark difference between the two plates – one arrived with two pieces of meat, while the other sadly only had one. The inconsistency was quite apparent. It's a real shame, as we genuinely loved this place and have many happy memories here. However, based on this experience – the waiting time, the menu changes leading to less value for money, and the inconsistency in the food served – we sadly won't be returning.

Food experience was good and our waiter was great, after that it went downhill. We were looking forward to seeing the live music but got moved several times because it was so busy and our reserved table got taken, eventually we ended up near the stage standing and left after one of the staff was very rude and aggressive trying to move us again, so never got to see the live music. Disappointing won’t go back to that one !!
