Tavern & Table is the dream child of Cecil & Dianne Crowley, Andy Palmer & Jeff Condon. After years of working together on various successful restaurant concepts, they wanted to bring together the very best aspects of fine dining and casual hospitality in a beautiful and comfortable setting. Tavern & Table is more than a restaurant, it was created to be a gathering place where people sit in comfort and share small plates for the table or enjoy a hearty meal. The bartenders know the fine art of cocktail making and their interest in flavor and presentation comes alive in not only in the food but in barrel aged cocktails that are created in-house.

    Service was terrible and we had to ask for water twice. Wagu beef was over cooked and over salted. Sides were cold. Very overpriced for terrible food. My view was of a divider fence on a barren patio. There are too many better options on Shem Creek for the food, service and views.

    Food is a little overpriced but descent. We did go for lunch not dinner. Not a huge selection of food on the menu. Had the blue crab BLT was not my favorite. Crab cake was very bland to me. The atmosphere and the service is 5 stars. Love the outdoor seating facing shem creek. Saw some dolphins today.

    I had a great dining experience this evening but the parking situation on this property needs to be addressed ASAP. We are not locals. The fact that I left the restaurant and had a boot on my rented vehicle when I was parked in a spot with absolutely NO signage is completely unacceptable. What they are doing is illegal. This cannot be the first nor the last complaint that you will or have received. The parking attendant was a young kid with multiple keys around his neck and their customer service would not budge until we paid nearly $60 to remove the boot. Totally unacceptable. The signage should be on every spot and visible and announced to every customer. It is NOT.

    We had Abby, the best server ever! Experienced a very VERY minor issue with one of the dishes we ordered and decided to replace it altogether. Two different managers came by and were so apologetic which was so amazing and demonstrated their commitment to service and quality. This wasn't our first visit and certainly will not be our last. Thank you for making our Valentine's Day perfect and thank you Abby for the beautiful rose.

    Great spot right on the water. Had a quick lunch while visiting the area. Bison burger was very good; my wife enjoyed the beet salad with a feta puree. Had a nice local IPA. Our server (Alston) was very attentive. Definitely would go back!

    I visited Tavern & Table after a coworker's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The brisket mac and cheese and cornbread were incredible—definitely must-tries. The service was excellent, and the location has a cozy yet upscale vibe. The only downside was the dry roasted chicken, though the mashed potatoes were great. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot, and I’d happily return.
