   Food isn’t as good as it use to be. Dessert was great but steak was overcooked and food didn’t much flavor

   Overall food was ok, waffle was cold (seems that is how they do it?) fried chicken was warm but not hot. Server was very good. Our last visit different location food was subpar as well. Now it makes sense why several have closed in the Cincinnati area since we had to travel near downtown to use our Gift Card. In general would not visit Taste of Belgium again, disappointing and we don't have a high bar to please.

   Always love Taste of Belgium. The food was great, per usual, but it was so, so cold in there. We ate with our winter coats on and still shivered. Full disclosure, it was freezing outside, but yikes it was cold inside.

   I recently started a new attempt at Keto life…I was looking to be not hungry for just a little while, ya know? At ToB they have a breakfast for dinner menu…omg, so good. I had steak and eggs with Brussel sprouts. It was a tasty and filling…perfect really. Thanks Jordan for being cool and feeding this old fat guy great food.

   PROs: We were there for breakfast. We were promptly seated, the server came over right away, and our food came out quickly. CONS: It was a cold morning and the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. We had made a reservation and upon arrival I specifically asked to be seated away from the door. We were seated in the area at the front of the restaurant, behind the entry. IT WAS COLD. We should have asked to be moved to the back, nearer the kitchen. Enjoyed the mimosas, but my companion and I both found the crepes to be mediocre. The unexceptional taste of the crepes was not enhanced by the way they chilled quickly due to the ambient air temperature. A heater or three would not go amiss. Might be a better dining experience in warmer weather or later in the day after the kitchens could contribute some heat.

   A friend and I went there for lunch. She ordered the mushroom crêpe, and I ordered the mussels gratin and a side salad plus green tea. As for my mussels, they were tasty enough, but the breadcrumb and butter sauce was very greasy. When I ate one of the mussels, there was a broken shell about 1/4 inch in diameter that crunched in my teeth. I had to spit it out. The side garden salad was just OK. The lemon vinaigrette dressing was pleasant, but it had the grocery store cherry tomatoes and loads of shredded carrots. Commercially shredded carrots or baby carrots often taste of mold when stored in a bag, and these did. I tasted my friend's mushroom crêpe. The size and shape - a square whole wheat crêpe - reminded me of some I had sampled in Brittany. It was covered completely with arugula in a vinaigrette dressing However, when I tried it later in the meal, it was already cold. I had expected some kind of sauce with cheese (like what I had eaten at TOB in OTR many years ago) inside, but didn't find that. The cold arugula on top of the crêpe that was sitting in the cold restaurant really chilled the crêpe. The hostess was great, and the service was moderately attentive. My appetizer and salad came to $20, and my green tea added $3.50. For almost $24, this did not seem like a good value for lunch. Desserts are limited to rich cheesecakes or cookies and macaroons, as well as heavy, sweet waffles, so we opted to skip dessert. My friend and I both agreed that we would not want to come back. We could observe that a lot of the orders were mainly waffles and fried chicken or steak frites. The room (near the front) was fairly cold. There's a fairly high noise level.

   Party of 7 and table was ready and service was really good. However the Mussels were definitely past their prime! The staff immediately got a different meal for our guest and apologized. Stuff happens so the way they addressed (and the other 6 meals and apps were great) will bring us back.

    I’ve been going there for years. Definitely on a downhill trajectory in my opinion. They still have great coffee’s but no real cream anymore. You get the little packs of fake cream like the gas station gives you. Sad.
