   Table 50 The diamond restaurant in the Star City shining in the heart of downtown Roanoke. You can stroll and visit all the eclectic shops around and work up an appetite for your meal at Table 50. As soon as you step into the establishment you are greeted with attentive smiling faces ready to wait on you. I started the night off with a delicious Annabella Cab Sav. I am a sucker for a good soup on a cold winter night and the French Onion Soup with the Gruyere bread on top was Outstanding. I could have had 3 more slices of that bread to sop my broth. My dinner choice was the Certified Angus Beef 8oz Filet Mignon with a choice of 3 friend oysters or shrimp. I chose the Oysters which were battered perfection it also came with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, sautéed asparagus, and sauce Diane. My tastebuds were SUPER HAPPY! The steak was Heavenly and melted in my mouth. Medium Well a little pink they nailed it! Four out of the six in our party got this entree. There was no crumb or trace of any food on my plate or my coworkers. That's always a good sign! My broker who was treating us stated that this was the best place we have had our holiday dinner thus far. We couldn't say no when the friendly waitress asked if we had room for dessert. We went with the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding with a cream cheese icing and whip cream, Creme Brulee, I devoured the Chocolate Mousse Torte chocolate mousse over an Oreo crumb crust with a Heath toffee topping and a raspberry port reduction drizzle. Our bellies were full and happy. I give this place 5 Stars and the vibe and lighting were just right as well! Also loved how the staff worked as one helping clean the plates off the table, filling our waters and brought the food out when it was ready and super friendly.

   We very much enjoyed my wife's birthday dinner celebration. I had the fried chicken that was delicious. My wife had the beef stroganoff. The filet minion used was so tender and cooked perfectly. Mauve was our waitress. She was very attentive. We were sat at nice table kind of to ourselves, that was requested through Open Table App. The noise level towards the end of our dinner get it a little loud but overall it was an wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back!

   Took my wife here for her 50th birthday. She got the crab cakes with Julian Veggies, cheese grits. She was very disappointed. The waitress was snobby, even though we ordered wine and over $60 of food. Her veggies were "tasteless", and she could not identify what veggies were served. Cheese grits had very little cheese. Crab cakes were good, but needed more sauce. Beef stroganoff had all the salt missing from my wife's meal. I took mine to go. My wife did not.

   Our service was great. The waitress was quick to clear plates and keep our drinks filled. The pimento cheese appetizer was excellent. I was disappointed in the salmon meal, it was overcooked and not much seasoning.

   Our service was phenomenal, our entrees were fantastic. Our only complaint was the music was really loud, making conversation difficult.

   Great place for a gathering of friends. Food was delicious. Service was exceptional. Staff was efficient and pleasant and let folks at our table visit. Just a wonderful evening

    First time. My drink was fixed nicely. Had the Caesar salad, it had too much dressing. Ordered the pan seared duck breast with mushroom risotto, the duck was acceptable, crispy skin. The risotto was awful. Way too salty. I could not eat it. The greeting when seated seemed to be a chore. Our waitress was great. But it was not worth $100.00 for one person with tip.
