   Memorably bad service. Spoke to our waiter once. Constant long waits - we were never asked if we wanted another drink, how food was, etc.

   We very like the ambience of Sunnyside, but the food this time was only meh, mostly because the salmon bowl that we remembered fondly from last year has changed.

   A beautiful place to eat out in Tahoe. We try to come here whenever we’re in town. It’s a fun and friendly restaurant.

   Booked a reservation at sunnyside for a nice valentine’s day dinner with my wife. Our experience was just ok, and was not the nice romantic dinner we were hoping for. My wife is a vegetarian, so before booking the res I checked their menu for some good vegetarian options, which i saw on their online menu. However, when we arrived the vegetarian options were very limited . It would be great to have at least one main vegetarian dish to offer. My wife ended up just getting a salad. I got the filet mignon, and was not impressed especially for the price of $60. It was a small piece, my steak was cut in half when arrived, and vegetables and potatoes were overcooked. The ambience is nice, but seems that it was really nice 10 years ago. The tables, chairs, and booths have a lot of wear and tear. It could really use a refresh to bring it back to the level it used to be. All things considered its a fine place for a casual lunch or dinner, but a pass for a nice romantic dinner out.

   We were there on “Taco Tuesday “ - the shrimp tacos were delicious, as was my margarita! We sat at a window table and watched the full moon over the lake!

   Felt rushed. Courses were coming out when we were still eating the previous course. Bolognese was burnt. Might be good for breakfast/lunch but sublime for dinner

   We have recently discovered Sunnyside and are making it our "Home Away From Kitchen" place. We love the rustic, casual interior. Stephanie, who has been our server twice, is warm, accommodating and oh so competent. We will always ask for her. My WA state Cab was really nice and my husband enjoyed his beer. He had the Caesar, which came with the anchvies that he requested. Great dressing! I had the Buddha Bowl with salmon, which I may order every time for the rest of my lift. The vegetables are roasted so nicely, and the pickled vegetables have a great crunch and flavor. He had the Yak Bolognese. It was flavorful with big papparadelle and plenty of parmesan. He would have liked bigger chunks of meat, like a stew, but that is not a bolognese. We didn't have dessert but saw an enormous piece of delicious looking cake go by. Love this place!

   My family and I have been coming to Sunnyside for decades. We have come by foot, car and boat to enjoy this westside icon. I have dined alone at the bar and hosted parties of 20+. Our experience this last time was not in keeping with the long held excellent service and quality we have come to expect. The wait staff was overwhelmed unsupported and often absent from the dinning room. There seemed to be staff standing around doing what I am not sure. It was the manager who finally came to fill our water but never offered to take a drink or appetizer order. The menu is little changed over the years and has grown tired. We will keep coming back, but like a sports team on a loosing streak Sunnyside has lost its luster. Get it back.

    My family and I have been coming to Sunnyside for over 40 years it’s always hit or miss this time it was a MISS ! We ordered a salad expecting it to get before out main however it was all brought at once no bread . I ordered the halibut it was overcooked so i sent it back decided to just have salad because by the time a mew dinner came my husband would be done with his meal . Do better cooks
