We stayed here and our room looked nothing like the lovely online pictures, complete bait and switch! But the food was great and our server Hope was amazing, she was the waitress, bartender, hostess and was on dish duty…so they need to hire a few more people. The restaurant was a bit outdated but comfy.

Food was fabulous and our waitress was very attentive. The Inn is in desperate need of repair, ceiling falling and paint chipping.

Limited menu and at 6:30pm ran out of an appetizer that happened to be one of the few non meat choices. Server, Hope, made the experience delightful. Badly burned bread that should not have been served and no alternative. Two very good salads and a lamp chop app that was also very good. Perhaps an off night? Suggest not serving any bread if you've burned it. Great staff and lovely room! Overall, had a wonderful stay.

Very limited menu, but everything we tried was excellent. Really enjoyed the spicey lentil side dish as well as the scallops. Shrimp wrapped with bacon served with a spicey sauce were also very good. Desserts made in house were fantastic Service was great. Server, Hope, was super and Chef came to all tables at the end of the night. We were there on a very quiet night. The dining room is very small. On a busier evening, it might be too close for comfort for me.

The atmosphere in the dining room was cozy and quiet. Our upholstered benches were shaggy which made them uncomfortable to sit on for 1.5 hrs. The food was creative and delicious. I had the roasted chicken on gnocchi which was outstanding ....it did have too much salt which wasn't necessary since the seasons and sauce were delicious on their own. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive.

Food was absolutely delicious. A bit on the salty side but still so good. I had the steak and my husband had the scallops. Both were cooked to perfection. The Inn was very quiet while we were there. Maybe just the time of the year. We would definitely go back.

Staff and food were excellent. Limited but diverse menu that changes daily. Stayed at the inn so I know some of the food is picked from their garden.

The dining room at the Sugar Hill Inn is really described well on the website and in promotional material. The photos make the room look very elegant and the cuisine is defined as "Fine Dining." It was OK and Hope our server was very nice, but the experience was far from fine dining, thought the prices were in keeping with higher quality products. I feel like the dining room is relying on past successes and accolades, but it is no longer up to that standard. We stayed at the Inn because the dining room and adjacent Tavern were promoted as a featured amenity. We were disappointed that the Inn did not meet what was described in the promotional material.
