   We wanted steak and randomly chose Strip online from a Google search because it was local , got a quick table reservation and walked over. The ambiance was old time NYC, the staff top notch, and menu perfect, and the food was amazingly delicious and perfectly prepared. Better than the better known steak houses BY FAR. What a find! Ive lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and this establishment was here for 25, but NYC being what it is, I’d hadn’t been there. Aged porter house for 2 was SO PERFECT, bacon starter, salad and the 1000 layer Potato side, three specialty drinks with tip was about $300. A lot, but no regrets. I’ll be back. Thanks Buddy!

   Very pleasant maitre’d and greeting service. Sat at the bar for drinks while waiting for our entire party. Bartender was professional, prompt, and friendly. Food was outstanding. Everything from appetizers, to steaks. We had way too much to eat to even think about dessert! Dante was a professional, courteous server who didn’t hover but was always in attendance. Our water glasses seemed to never empty which is a real treat when eating salty/spicy foods. Only issue was the flimsy chairs. Several of the larger men in our party felt unstable as if they were waiting for their chairs to collapse. Tables were also super-close together. When a large table was seated adjacent to us, the waiters kept bumping into people seated at our table as they squeezed around the adjacent table.

   Good food, priced fairly. Cool ambience. Overall worth the visit. Would go back but there are better steak places in NYC

   I have never had a less than amazing time at the strip house, my goto spot for great atmosphere, amazing food, and wonderful service..

   Best dining experience I’ve had in New York City so far. I felt very taken care of. And the food was amazing! I got the 8 oz filet with the charred broccoli. I ate it all. Also I love the vibe! Very romantic.

   Been here a couple times but the this 25’ valentines made it the last. After sitting us where its crowded already having to get a new table because a 3rd person was coming , they put me in in the main walk way… Managers made a scene & got upset with me because i chose them not to disclose my phone for the payment for personal reasons. I had a guest with me & i paid no problem Managers because the 1st manager called the 2nd trying to say my payment wasnt accepted (i am black) not sure if that had anything to do with it but 1 star Food was good Never again strip house Greenwich)

   An amazing dining experience at the Strip House on Valentine's night! Even with the VDay busy night, we really enjoyed our evening. Courtney Eckert the GM and her team made the night special. Always excellent food, sips and ambience! Much appreciate the service by Laura our server too. The Strip House is our fave Steakhouse in NYC! We will be back again soon!.

    Was hoping for a classic steakhouse meal. Their attempt to be “innovative” left us slightly annoyed; truffle cream spinach? No thanks—I want classic spinach. Asparagus with almonds and soy? Please just keep it simple. VERY overpriced - dinner for two with tip was $520! We had a few cocktails and two glasses of wine, two sides, two steaks, and dessert. I get steakhouses are expensive but this was just beyond. The bar was sad - lots of lights were out (or nonexistent) which made it very dark along the back wall & shelves for bottles, and the fridges on the floor. It was intentional, but not inviting or lovely. Just hard to see! Two big cutouts in the plywood at the ceiling where a few lights shine through—looked very cheap and unfinished. It was Valentine’s day and most of the tables were converted to two tops; all the women seemed annoyed at their dates. Probably not the norm but was a bit depressing. The waiter was pushing their “dining club” hard and left us with a cheap brochure that he called “kind of like a Starbucks card”. The opposite of high-end. Starbucks?! C’mon. I want a classic, classy NY steak house! We’ll go elsewhere.
