Prominently situated in the heart of Coronado’s iconic village, Stake is a modern take on the classic chophouse of decades past with a chef-driven menu sourced with only the highest quality ingredients available.

Executive Chef Matt Sramek’s menu includes a number of share-friendly filets, chops, Japanese A5 wagyu, and dry-aged prime steak, an expansive selection of seafood appetizers including raw oysters from both East & West coasts, Alaskan King Crab, ice-cold shellfish & crudo, healthy salads, and rustic, wood fire-roasted side dishes, in addition to a handful of freshly composed seasonal seafood entrées.

Great service and ambiance. Very enjoyable evening. At these prices, the food needs to be outstanding and it just wasn’t. Outside of steak had char (not a good sear crust) that made it bitter. It was under seasoned (needed more salt). Inside of steak was room temp, not hot. It had clearly been cooked earlier and seared when we came in. It was ordered med rare so it should have been 130ish inside. It was prob 80 degrees max. Bread was ok. The food was really good overall, just not good enough to justify the price. A $100 steak should be pretty close to perfect.

Amazing experience with the Wagyu trio, duchesse potatoes, the baby carrots with honey and goat cheese !!then the dessert. !! Blueberry bread pudding and the layered carrot cake with caramel! Gigantic wine list. Service was excellent-Vanessa was so knowledgeable and attentive! It was all amazing. Thank you

We love the Stake Chophouse Restaurant. We choose it to celebrate our 30 year anniversary and we were hapoy we did. They received us with a Happy Anniversary Card on our table, they gave us a glass of champagne for a toast. Vanessa was a fantastic server as we remember her being in previous ocasions. The food was excellent the Chef went the extra mile for us. We had the perfect ambiance! THANK YOU! To all the servers, chef, cooks and manager for making our anniversary very special.

A very nice dining experience - comfortable booth seating in a well-designed room; good looking and friendly staff; prompt and efficient service through the meal; halibut and rib steak dinners were excellent; martini and wine were excellent as well. The restaurant is definitely an A+ for Coronado - but prices are stiff so, as full-time Coronado residents, we will just enjoy their happy hour for awhile. Thanks again to Vanessa and the other staff who made our two birthday celebrations extra special. - Sheila 😌 and Gene 😎

Wonderful service above and beyond. The food is very good. Appreciate the variety in breads. The cake dessert was huge. The presentation of the dishes was nice. I would recommend the duck, if you are not eating steak. French onion soup was great.

Oysters were not good. Very unusual for Stake. They served the wrong drink and salad. ( switched our orders ) They delivered the food and drinks in a confused and.unorganized manner.
