   Excellent dinner as always. 5 of us dined with 4 opting for the set menu, which is such a great value with multiple options for each of the 3 courses. Portions are generous. I had the spinach salad and rack of lamb, perfectly medium rare. Spencer’s is always on my list of must dine places when I visit PS. It never disappoints

   Absolutely one of the most spectacular restaurants in the Coachella Valley. I have been coming here for 25 years and have never had a bad meal.

   Food was wonderful but during our last two visits (within the two weeks) service was woefully lacking and not up to Spencer’s standards. Servers weren’t attentive and lacked proper training. Not greeting us or letting us know that a server would be back for drink orders or informing us of daily menu choices. Servers also reached over customers to deliver food… Not serving and/or retrieving plates from left or right. At the end of the meal we had to ask for coffee. In general, the serving staff seemed to lack the training expected for the level of service Spencer’s is known for. Mainly, they didn’t appear to act as a team complementing one anothers duties  As noted, the food was great, but the service was noticeably lacking.

   Another excellent experience at Spenser’s on this unusually rainy day in Palm Springs. Right from the start with the valet’s hustling to greet customers in a professional & friendly manner. Our waitress was very nice & the food was wonderful. This is a very special restaurant which we always enjoy!

   The staff here is professional, courteous, and kind beginning with the valet parking people to the wait staff. Food and drinks are excellent. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and the beautiful ambience of the dining setting . A must dining experience when in Palm Springs.

    Seated outside on a walkway with a significant slope - very uncomfortable. Asked for a heater, which took a poor staff person considerable effort and several tries to jam it in to an already crowded and tippy space. In fairness, the server offered to move us - but someone else would end up there and we heard grumbling about the walkway seating at the next table there. First time there. Food was good and our server was lovely but the experience was subpar.
