   The most disappointing experience of our Palm Springs vacation. The food was mediocre at best; all three entrees were bland and lacked flavor. My mother's meatloaf was inedible, the steak special had no flavor, and the mushroom risotto was bland. The only highlight was the calamari, which was tasty and the only reason for two stars. Service was pretentious and unpleasant from start to finish, with the exception of the person who served our waters initially (not our main server). Upon arrival, we were told the menu was geared toward adults, implying it wasn’t suited for children. I explained my daughter prefers to eat adult food and doesn’t need a kids' menu. This was reiterated as we were seated, emphasizing they "typically don’t have kids." My daughter, who dines at fine restaurants regularly and has a refined palate, was treated as an afterthought. She wasn't given a plate with appetizers and had to use a bread plate for entrees after a second request for a proper plate was ignored. Even she found the food boring, except for the calamari and carrots. When my mother mentioned the lack of post-entree service, the server defensively responded, "No, I walked by several times," rather than apologizing. Walking by without engaging is not checking in. My mother’s mostly uneaten entree went unnoticed. The indoor ambiance felt tired and outdated. Although the outdoor area seemed appealing, we were told "kids aren’t allowed outdoors." This was baffling, as my daughter displayed excellent manners, engaged thoughtfully in conversation, and dined without distractions or toys. The restaurant’s assumption about children was not only inaccurate but discriminatory. If the food, service, or ambiance had been better, we might have overlooked the treatment we received. Unfortunately, all three were lacking. Notably, their website does not indicate this is an adult-only establishment.

   As always superb.We come to the valley several times a year.Spencer’s is always a must stop,food amazing Rafael the best of taking care of your ever need .Will be back on Sunday before heading home.👏👏👏👏

   Only reason it’s not 5 stars is I had to send my food back to be cooked more and a manager never even came over. Additionally one of the people at dinner didn’t eat much of their food as they didn’t like it and that too should have brought a manager. If Marylynn the new GM was there she would have been over in a heartbeat

   One of the very best restaurants in Palm Springs. Consistently great. Our amazing server, Delfina, who we had not seen since last spring, remembered our names and our drink orders! Amazing!!

   Fine dining from arrival to departure. Richard was a greater waiter, guiding us to find the perfect wine for our meal and selecting the opening and entree offerings. Very knowledgeable of the menu items and offering his birthday congratulations. Spencer's has a great menu and wine/cocktail selection. The dining is open-air, but includes radiant heating this time of year. Beautiful setting. Valet parking was friendly and efficient.

    I dine at Spencer's every time I visit Palm Springs. It's a beautiful restaurant with valet service and a great staff.
