Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

Booth downstairs near fireplace was perfect! Allowed for easy conversation and coziness in a busy environment. Service was impeccable....just the right amount of attention and so professional. Food delivered very quickly and of the utmost quality! Crabcakes and snapper were amazing! Espresso martini...perfect. Thank you for providing a wonderful environment during the holidays!

An old brick building filled with charm, but most important was not only the professional service but the fabulous food. Our server, Chuck, was very knowledgeable and overall personable! Shrimp and grits for one and perfect seared scallops for the other made for two very satisfied diners. Highly recommended!

We have found that this the perfect place to eat prior or after performances at the Peace Center. Food and atmosphere is pleasant and staff attentive.

We visited Soby's for the second and final time today. While the establishment is very cute, I do not understand why it was so crowded. The food is subpar at best, both my fiance and I picked at what was served to us eventually deciding it just wasn't worth eating. Everything that we ordered came out very quickly but it was all room temperature, when we told our server, he was super quick to apologize and said he would send out fresh hot food... the second batch might have been colder than the first. Our server was very apologetic and we do not fault him at all- it just seems like they are working so quickly to get through people that the food is seriously suffering. We left questioning, even if the food had been hot, would it have even been good?
