   What a great time we had here! Great Sunday roast, home made chips with a lovely salad, bottle of white wine, a couple of beers. But the highlight of the visit was Alfredo and the atmosphere he creates with all of his guests. So funny, hard working, on point, constantly making sure everyone is ok. There was also a lady serving, along with him. She too was equally on point - this was a real find, one we will be visiting again when we’re back in Town.

   We always come to Smith's when in London. Quality food, service and always a very happy atmosphere coming at a very reasonable price. The risotto seafood its a must. Great spot in Paddington and very close to all central London top destination.

   Where to start, I’ve eaten here many times before and enjoyed myself but it has been hit or miss on this occasion. Here’s why: - the roast potatoes were not fluffy or crispy. They were basically boiled potatoes. - everything on the plate (including the gravy) was Luke warm, except the meat ( had a roast) - the food would get dropped to the front door area for a waiter to bring to the table, but if there wasn’t a waiter, it would just get cold. On one occasion, I got up and took over my desserts. - chocolate fondant was cold when I kindly requested it be hot. - the attentiveness for wait staff just wasn’t there. I like this place because it is good value for money but today just was not it.

   Good services very attentive staff. Weird mix with a DJ and saxophone player, playing different music at the same time but it kinda worked. Would recommend.

   Overpriced _ All you can eat brunch a bit of a con. Wine only average and expensive. Nice decor and waiters seemed nice but ‘uninterested’. Won’t go there again

   Food and drinks were cold, had to send back, we were the only people dining there and service was slow. Would not come back

   No matter how good the food (and it was), no matter how good the service (and it was) this was a truly disappointing evening. We will never go back. A restaurant where the clientele are forced to shout at each other all evening because of the level of the music (was it music or just thumping?) is exhausting and unpleasant. I will not be surprised to read in the future that your team have long-term hearing problems and are claiming industrial injury. Your music policy is letting your serving staff down and your kitchen staff. We shall be advising people to avoid Smiths at all cost.

    Visited smiths bar & grill for my partners birthday , starters we ordered were tuna tartare and beef tartare both beautifully put together , fresh and flavoursome. We ordered a first round of drinks whiskey sours they were not great asked for them to be remade on which they still weren’t to our taste. We opted to order 2012 bottle of Malbec it was beautiful. Mains I ordered the cod and my partner ordered a T-bone steak , we ordered sides of potatoes , fries , broccoli & Greek salad , both delicious were made to perfection was pleasantly surprised. Then we ordered a tiramisu to share - it was nice but not fully traditional I would say. They surprised my partner with a dessert saying happy birthday for his special day which was a nice touch. The waiters were very accommodating and attentive. Only niggle I had was the waiting time between starters and mains took 40mins but as we prompted them of a reminder it followed to our table soon after. We shall definitely return here , Dj , live violinist , decor and ambience were superb.
