   Smith's bar and grill is a great little British restaurant in Paddington Basin. The place is full of eclectic decor. The staff are all super friendly and very welcoming.They have great space at the back. You can also get the full menu at the bar. The food is outstanding and the menu is as eclectic and interesting as the surroundings. The steaks are phenomenal.

   Do you want delicious, mfood in a welcoming restaurant atmosphere in Central London? This is the place, just by the canal in Paddington. I love the small plate options . The baby chicken was best I've ever had. Steaks was delish. we had cocktails discounted at happy hour too. Did I mention the cocktails? Hoo haaa Wish they had more draft beer options . Cozy cozy cozy place with extremely high quality food. A delightful surprise. Wonderful staff and Hail to the CHEF!!!

   We had the most amazing dinner at the Smith's! We were a little concerned about the noise when we arrived but to our delight we were seated in the coolest back room area, and separate from the front main bar. Perfect for private parties if you wanted to bring the office or plan a family reunion. We ordered 4 meals and a couple of sides, along with some fish and chips (My wife is from Norwich and having fish and chips is always a great addition to any feast). We're not drinkers by our boys and their wives had wine and beer and very much enjoyed their drinks. The service was also great! In fact when we got seated the room was a bit freezing, and there were only a few others in there, so I asked one of the gents if the area we were in had separate air and he was so nice about it, turned it down and it was just perfect for the amount at guests. I wish I had taken pics of my plates of food, I'm not the guy that remembers that kind of stuff, and to be honest the food disappeared nearly as quickly as it arrived! The table went silent for about 10 minutes while everyone dug in, and boy did we enjoy it! For the next hour we all picked at everyone's plates and enjoyed each other's company. I'd go back in a in no Time for any special occasion or any meal! They have Sunday Roasts, and guaranteed we'll be going back for one of those! Our entire family enjoyed The Smith's for our Dinner Feast and we all recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before!

   I remember this place after walking for too long by the canal, so I decided to book a table to have a quick bite then be on my way, but ended up staying for three fantastic cocktails and ordering big food too. The fish and chips is to die for. Friendly staff, thanks to Alfredo, and good food and at reasonable prices given London standards. I’d go back in a heart beat.

   We went for our last night in London, Paddington Basin as we had seen the reviews and the happy hour specials, the food was really tasty and the beer on tap were good. They’ve made the place look more like an English restaurant than most English pubs! Cool interior that doesn’t come across as “tacky” or “themed” like many places can. The staff were great and the place had a nice vibe.

   Omg this is such a cool restaurant in Paddington, very close to Kensington Gardens! Such a chill and dignified atmosphere with an amazing waitstaff that really know their staff!! I've been here a half dozen times and I always order something that I've never had, and it's always delicious and good.. They are so cool and relaxed here, the food is great, and I'm never disappointed. These guys rock!

   The service was very slow, many new and inexperienced staff. My salad was tasty. The chateaubriand was soft and had good flavour. The potatoes were not sufficiently cooked let alone crispy. It was expensive so all in all we were not very impressed.

   Lovely birthday celebrations had on a Saturday afternoon. My group and I did the unlimited brunch, excellent service and food. Out main server was Dima (sp?!), but all the staff who attended our table were brilliant. I would definitely book again for any occasion and my friends and family were also impressed. The only thing I would change, is perhaps if you can create a bit of space for an after brunch / dining boogie! The DJ was playing some tunes, but there isn't any space for a bit of a dance after all that food! 😀 Thank you x
