   Shaws is a great place for a nice evening out. The food is excellent, and the noise level is low so it is easy to have a conversation. Service is always outstanding.

   Not sure what I was expecting but this place was solid! Our server was friendly and quick. Can’t understand why they have a 25% full restaurant and they want to put you 3 feet from the kitchen?? I didn’t say anything as I just wanted to roll with the program. Martini’s were well made, oysters from VA were just average, but noting from PEI. The space was typical Schaumburg ( big box kind of resturant) so nothing special. Main courses were presented well and were good size. I would give it another shot as it was convenient 2 min from the hotel and in the end all worked out.

   1/2 price oysters and they were delicious Also took advantage of restaurant week menu The cappuccino icecream was the bomb

   We visited Shaw's for restaurant week. I started out with clam chowder soup, next lobster tails and finished with creme brulee. I was not disappointed at all. Our server was also very good.

   Beginning of Restaurant week. Great menu with many choices. All four entrees were great! Our server, Kailey, was professional and very accommodating. We always enjoy dinner at Shaws.

    Pleasantly surprised. Excellent sushi as a starter, wedge salad and lobster bisque as appetizer were both excellent. Mains were seafood platter and steak with lobster. Steak was over salted and overcooked but all seafood was fresh and very well prepared. Sides of mushroom and potatoes au gratin were also very good. Dessert of key lime pie and crème brûlée - 2 thumbs up. Cocktails and wine choices great. Service was very good. Other than the steaks - close to a perfect r meal.
