Selanne Steak Tavern, owned by Anaheim Duck legend Teemu Selanne and located in a quaint, historical home built in 1934, features an upscale casual neighborhood tavern and a traditional steakhouse. We are inside, downstairs in the bar. Food was delicious. The Banana Foster is a must for dessert.

Our first visit, we anticipated an expensive but memorable meal in an elegant setting. Instead, we were greeted by a cold “Can I help you?” and seated in a plastic covered porch. Heated, but next to the open door and a cold breeze. The salad and soup were very good, but the soft white bread was uninteresting. My medium rare filet mignon was overcooked, as was my wife’s halibut, which was rubbery. The waiter, Miguel, was fine but seemed distracted. We won’t be back.

Everything was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the slow braised ravioli, Caesar Salad, Mac and Cheese was mind blowing, mashed potatoes and Wagyu Steak. Parking was easy, noise level was pleasant and the staff were very nice.

What a lovely special occasion spot by the beach! The beet "ravioli" salad was pretty as a picture, but the seasonal (butternut squash) and daily (broccoli) soups were standout stars too.

This has been our anniversary spot for 9 years now and it never disappoints, the food is amazing, the staff is great and fast to serve. My wife and I will continue to come here and celebrate all of our anniversaries

Ein völlig überbewertetes und dafür viel zu teures Restaurant. Das Steak war Medium bestellt, geliefert wurde ein trockenes durchgebratenes Steak. Das zweite Glas Wein wurde so spät serviert, da war das Gericht bereits aufgegessen. Der Maine Lobster war auch nicht frisch!
