Selanne Steak Tavern, owned by Anaheim Duck legend Teemu Selanne and located in a quaint, historical home built in 1934, features an upscale casual neighborhood tavern and a traditional steakhouse. In addition to the absolute best steaks in Orange County, the Tavern offers great burgers, small plates, salads and appetizers as well as an extensive world class wine list, great specialty cocktails and craft beers. Everything was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the slow braised ravioli, Caesar Salad, Mac and Cheese was mind blowing, mashed potatoes and Wagyu Steak. Parking was easy, noise level was pleasant and the staff were very nice.

What a lovely special occasion spot by the beach! The beet "ravioli" salad was pretty as a picture, but the seasonal (butternut squash) and daily (broccoli) soups were standout stars too.

This has been our anniversary spot for 9 years now and it never disappoints, the food is amazing, the staff is great and fast to serve. My wife and I will continue to come here and celebrate all of our anniversaries

Ein völlig überbewertetes und dafür viel zu teures Restaurant. Das Steak war Medium bestellt, geliefert wurde ein trockenes durchgebratenes Steak. Das zweite Glas Wein wurde so spät serviert, da war das Gericht bereits aufgegessen. Der Maine Lobster war auch nicht frisch!

What a tremendous dining experience. Our Server made us feel like we were having a private dining experience. My wife and I have dined all over the world and are big steakhouse fans, and we must say, Selanne’s was truly wonderful. Our Ribeye was incredibly flavorful and perfectly prepared, and the rainbow carrots were a special treat as a side as well. We’re looking forward to returning the next time we’re in Laguna Beach.
