   The bar/restaurant itself is cosy and welcoming, and the space works well with ambient lighting and background music. We received a pleasant welcome, and all the wait staff were friendly. We didn't have to wait long before someone took a drinks order, and they arrived promptly and tasted good (can definitely recommend the cocktails - and they have 25% off some of them, all day every day!) The food let everything down slightly. I ordered the 'Hilly Cheesesteak' and it was really bland and disappointing. The fries were good, as were the side of onion rings. My partner got a cheeseburger, and made the same comments re lack of flavour and being a bit underwhelming. We were in Inverness for the weekend, arriving late on the Friday night, so were grateful for a place like Scoth and Rye being open later and serving food - they got the points back for that, the relaxed atmosphere, and the service. I wouldn't recommend going for the food, but I'd go back for drinks.

   My mum and I went into Scotch & Rye and both immediately said we would come again, but would need to save up some we could try all of the cocktails. The staff were friendly and we didn't feel rushed into ordering, the food was out of the kitchen quickly and was so tasty just talking about it is making my mouth water! I would recommend going to Scotch & Rye to anyone. The only downside is that there is no disabled toilets but other than that everything was amazing.

   A fine, lively and rightly popular place for a burger in Inverness. Service was friendly and good, food also good. Lots of choice for cocktail lovers.

   Couldn’t fault it. Except the Mexican drink claiming to be better than a marg is definitely not better than a marg!

   Superb meal, couldn’t fault it whatsoever. Service was great as well. Lovely setting and far larger than looks from the outside. Def worth a visit if in Inverness!

   Went for NYE and had a brilliant time. Lovely whiskies and ales on offer! Staff are all a great laugh and kind!

    Good food good service starter was lovely drinks a bit over priced got a rum an coke an the coke was flat cud hardly taste rum Staff friendly
